QUIET INTERVAL TERMINATION
An access point (AP) transmits a first frame comprising: a Target Wake Time (TWT) element indicating a restricted Target Wake Time (r-TWT) Service Period (SP) of an r-TWT setup for one or more first stations (STAs); and a quiet element indicating a quiet interval for one or more second STAs, the quiet interval overlapping with a portion of the r-TWT SP. Based on determining termination of the r-TWT SP during the quiet interval, the AP transmits a second frame, during the quiet interval, indicating termination of the quiet interval for the one or more second STAs.
POWER MANAGEMENT INDICATOR TRANSMITTED OVER COMMUNICATION LINK AND RELATING TO OTHER COMMUNICATION LINK
A method for operating a multi-link station and an access point being configured for communicating with each other, wherein the method comprises transmitting a power management indicator between the multi-link station and the access point over a first communication link, the power management indicator being indicative of a power management state of a second communication link.
DYNAMIC POSTPONEMENT OF PERIODIC RESOURCES AND DRX ACTIVE TIMES IN MODE 1 SIDELINK
This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for dynamic postponement of periodic resources and DRX active times. A first UE and a second UE may receive, from a base station, an allocation of periodic resources for reception of downlink traffic and relayed downlink traffic over sidelink. The first UE and the second UE may also receive respective postponement indications for reception occasions of the periodic resources and may monitor for the downlink traffic and the relayed downlink traffic at time adjusted instances in response to the respective postponement indications. A base station may send the downlink traffic to the first UE, which may relay the downlink traffic to the second UE, at the time adjusted instances in response to the postponement indications.
SCHEDULING SLEEP TIME TRANSITION FOR A WAKEUP PERIOD OF A USER EQUIPMENT
Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a UE determines a completion time associated with a communication event for a wakeup period, the wakeup period characterized by at least radio frequency (RF) circuitry being set to an active state. The UE schedules a transition from the wakeup period to a sleep period at the completion time, the sleep period characterized by at least the RF circuitry being set to an inactive state. The UE performs the communication event during the wakeup period. The UE transitions from the wakeup period to the sleep period at the completion time in accordance with the scheduling. The UE determines, after the transition from the wakeup period to the sleep period, a wakeup time associated with a next wakeup period.
DRX CYCLE RECONFIGURATION TO IMPROVE DETECTION OF D2D TRANSMISSIONS
The methods, devices, and systems discussed herein involve a mobile wireless communication device (WCD) receiving a first discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle configuration from a network. In some examples, the first DRX cycle configuration is a U E-specific DRX cycle configuration. In other examples, the first DRX cycle configuration is a default DRX cycle configuration. The WCD also receives a second DRX cycle configuration that is different from the first DRX cycle configuration from the network. In some examples, the second DRX cycle configuration is compatible with a sidelink DRX cycle configuration of a D2D-capable device. Upon entering a first area that is near a potential safety scenario, such as an intersection, the WCD receives a signal containing an indicator. In response to receiving the signal, the WCD utilizes the second DRX cycle configuration to detect one or more device-to-device (D2D) transmissions from a D2D-capable device.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS
A communication method includes a first terminal device that determines first configuration information of first discontinuous reception DRX, where the first DRX controls the first terminal device to receive data on a sidelink. The first terminal device sends the first configuration information to a second terminal device, where the second terminal device is a terminal device that establishes a sidelink connection to the first terminal device. This can reduce power consumption of the terminal device.
Sidelink Communication Method and Communication Apparatus
This application provides a sidelink communication method. The method includes: A first terminal device determines one or more pieces of first configuration information, where the one or more pieces of first configuration information correspond to one or more sidelinks, each piece of the first configuration information is used to configure a discontinuous reception DRX related parameter of a corresponding sidelink, and the first terminal device is a sending device or a receiving device on the one or more sidelinks. The first terminal device maintains, based on each piece of the first configuration information, a status of the discontinuous reception DRX corresponding to each piece of the first configuration information.
Multi-Link Communication Method and Apparatus
Embodiments of this application relate to the communication field, and in particular, to a multi-link communication method and an apparatus. A STA in a STA MLD sends an information frame on a link corresponding to the station, and the information frame is used to indicate a STA in an awake state in the STA MLD. An AP MLD receives the information frame, and sends a downlink message frame on a one or more links corresponding to a part of or all of STAs in the awake state in the STA MLD, to assist the part of or all of the stations in fast accessing a channel without waiting for a NAVSyncDelay time period.
Transmission or Reception Configuration Method and Electronic Device
A transmission or reception configuration method includes: executing, according to first transmission or reception configuration information, a target behavior in a time resource configured by the first transmission or reception configuration information. The first transmission or reception configuration information is at least one set of transmission or reception configuration information in N sets of transmission or reception configuration information.
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A communication apparatus includes an establishment unit configured to establish a first link and a second link with another communication apparatus in a plurality of frequency channels where wireless communication compliant with an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.11 series standard is performed, and a notification unit configured to, in a case where information about operation of the first link established by the establishment unit is changed, notify the other communication apparatus of the changed information about the operation of the first link via the second link.
