The data transmission method comprises: a first terminal device acquiring first discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration information, the first DRX configuration information being used for determining a continuously monitoring duration of a second terminal device, and the first terminal device sending the sidelink data to the second terminal device within the continuously monitoring duration of the second terminal device.

Method and arrangement for reducing power consumption in a mobile communication network

A method of operating a wireless communication device in a wireless communication network is disclosed. The wireless communication device transitions between a plurality of modes, wherein the plurality of modes further includes a sleep mode, wherein the wireless communication device does not listen for downlink data transmissions, and the plurality of modes further includes an active mode, wherein the wireless communication device listens for downlink data transmissions. While the wireless communication device is operating in the active mode, it receives control signalling from a transmitter to adjust a length of time for transitioning between a first mode among the plurality of modes and a second mode among the plurality of modes based on one or more sleep rules. The wireless communication device transitions from the first mode to the second mode based, at least in part, on the adjusted length of time.

Compression of group wake-up signal

Wake-up signal (WUS) downlink control information (DCI) may be configured to convey a wake-up indication as well as UE wake-up behavior configuration information. For example, WUS DCI may include one or more wake-up indications for one or more UEs via wake-up indication bits (e.g., wake-up indication bits may be conveyed in locations of the WUS DCI associated with monitoring indices of the one or more UEs to be activated). For example, WUS DCI may be encoded to include a wake-up indication and an indication of behavior configuration information for a group of one or more UEs. UE wake-up behavior configuration information may indicate some BWP to activate, may trigger a CSI report, etc. A UE may decode the wake-up indication and the wake-up behavior configuration information based on a monitoring index and the WUS configuration.

A mobile device allows transmission of additional outgoing application data requests in response to occurrence of receipt of data transfer from a remote entity, user input in response to a prompt displayed to the user, and a change in a background status of an application executing on the mobile device. Additional outgoing application data requests are foreground application requests.

The present disclosure relates to transmitting and receiving improved wake-up signals (WUS) between a base station and a user equipment (UE). The UE can receive a configuration for discontinuous reception (DRX) or extended DRX (eDRX). The UE can also determine whether to monitor for a WUS during a DRX WUS time resource or an eDRX WUS time resource. In some aspects, the UE can determine whether to monitor for the WUS during the DRX WUS time resource or the eDRX WUS time resource based on a duration of a DRX time gap between DRX WUS resources and a paging occasion and an eDRX time gap between eDRX WUS resources and the paging occasion. The base station can configure the UE for DRX or eDRX. The base station can also determine whether to transmit a WUS during a DRX WUS time resource or an eDRX WUS time resource.

Signaling for multi-link communication in a wireless local area network (WLAN)

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for signaling between an access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) and a non-AP MLD that support multi-link communication in a wireless local area network (WLAN). In some implementations, a multi-link association may include a first link (referred to as an anchor link) and one or more other links (referred to as auxiliary links). The signaling may include control information to activate or deactivate auxiliary links dynamically based on communication load, throughput requirements, or quality of service (QoS). The signaling also may include requests, acknowledgments, or negotiation regarding multi-link connections. Furthermore, signaling and timing information may be used to coordinate when auxiliary links are used for communication or when to promote an auxiliary link to an anchor link.
