Method And Apparatus For Avoiding Interference Between WiFi Operation And Microwave Oven Operation
Examples and techniques pertaining to avoidance of interference between wireless operation and microwave oven operation are described. A processor configures at least one of a magnetron of a microwave oven or a wireless transceiver of the microwave oven. The processor then controls operations of the magnetron and the wireless transceiver such that wireless communication by the wireless transceiver is not interfered by radiation from the magnetron as a result of the configuring.
Receiver front-end power consumption reduction via linearity and sensitivity adaptation
A wireless communication device may operate in different power modes based at least on a decoding of a Physical Data Control Channel (PDCCH). The wireless communication device may operate its receiver front end circuitry (RX AFE) in any one of a number of different power modes, and may switch to operating the RX AFE in a different power mode based at least on decoding of the PDCCH. The transmit leakage does not need to be monitored, and the wireless communication device may adjust/adapt the sensitivity and linearity of its RX AFE based on PDCCH decoding and in some cases based additionally on one or more metrics, to reduce power consumption. The different power modes may correspond to different respective combinations of sensitivity level and linearity level at which the RX AFE is operating.
Network access control method and apparatus
A network access control method and an apparatus are disclosed. The method includes controlling, by a first network device if determining that a terminal device already establishes a second data connection to a second network, the terminal device to stop establishment of a first data connection to a first network, or controlling the terminal device to end the second data connection, to smoothly establish a first data connection. In this way, it can be ensured that a data connection exists between the terminal device and one network, and it can be ensured that the terminal device can normally transmit data.
ADAPTIVE PDCCH MONITORING COMMUNICATION TECHNIQUES
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first wireless communication device may receive an indication of a first set of non-adaptive physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), a first set of adaptive PDCCH resources, a second set of non-adaptive PDCCH resources, and a second set of adaptive PDCCH resources, may monitor the first set of non-adaptive PDCCH resources or the first set of non-adaptive PDCCH resources and the first set of adaptive PDCCH resources based at least in part on whether the first set of adaptive PDCCH resources is activated, and may transmit, based at least in part on whether the second set of adaptive PDCCH resources is activated, one or more DCI communications using the second set of non-adaptive PDCCH resources, or the second set of non-adaptive PDCCH resources and the second set of adaptive PDCCH resources. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Power efficiency in multiple radio access technologies scenarios
There are provided measures for achieving power efficiency in multiple radio access technologies scenarios. Such measures exemplarily comprise, in a communication scenario using a first radio link and for communication using a second radio link, said first radio link and said second radio link utilizing different radio access technologies, estimating a first uplink power efficiency for said first radio link, estimating a second uplink power efficiency for said second radio link, comparing said first uplink power efficiency and said second uplink power efficiency, and selecting said first radio link or said second radio link as a primary radio link to be utilized for an uplink transmission based on a result of said comparing.
Method and apparatus of power saving for discontinuous reception
A method of power saving for a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method includes the following actions. A beam failure recovery configuration is received by a UE from a first base station. Whether a beam failure is detected by the UE. When the beam failure is detected during a discontinuous reception (DRX) off period, a beam recovery request is transmitted by the UE to the first base station when the UE transitions from the DRX off period to a DRX on period. A beam recovery response is received by the UE from the first base station.
TERMINATING CALL HANDLING FOR POWER SAVING ACTIVATED USER EQUIPMENT
The embodiments herein relate to terminating call handling for power saving activated user equipment. In one embodiment, there proposes a method in a IP Multimedia Subsystem Application Server, IMS-AS, for handling a terminating call for a User Equipment, UE, using power saving functionality, comprising: obtaining power saving information of the UE; handling the terminating call based on the power saving information. With the embodiments, the time and network resource for the terminating call can be saved and the user's experience can be enhanced.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE PROVIDING PERIODIC POSITIONING COMMUNICATION VIA WIRELESS COMMUNICATION CHANNEL
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes an ultra-wideband (UWB) communication circuit, a processor operatively connected to the UWB communication circuit, and a memory operatively connected to the processor. The memory stores instructions, and when the instructions are executed, the instructions, when executed, further cause the processor to establish a wireless communication channel with an external electronic device using the UWB communication circuit, perform positioning communication with the external electronic device based on a predetermined period, via the wireless communication channel, recognize a distance between the electronic device and the external electronic device, and a changing trend of the distance, based at least on the positioning communication, and change the positioning communication period based on the recognized distance and the changing trend.
Interfering device identification
Example methods and systems are disclosed to facilitate detection and identification of devices connected to a cellular network and that are causing interference to the cellular network. An example method may include receiving, by a serving base station of the device, a first set of information associated with data communications of a device utilizing a cellular network. The method may further include determining the device is an interfering device based on the first set of information associated with the data communication substantially corresponding with an interfering device profile, and in response tracking the device. During the tracking of the device, a second set of information associated with the data communications from the device may be obtained, and an interfering device type of the device may be determined based on the second set of information. An action may be performed on the interfering device based on its interfering device type.
