20210211798 · 2021-07-08 ·

Disclosed is a wireless headset role switching method, relating to the technical field of portable listening devices, wherein a main wireless headset is a headset currently establishing a connection with a terminal, and a slave wireless headset is a headset not currently establishing a connection with the terminal. The method includes: when receiving an in-place instruction, a main wireless headset sending connection information of the main wireless headset and a terminal to a slave wireless headset, so that the slave wireless headset initiates a connection request to the terminal according to the connection information and establishes a connection with the terminal, thereby completing wireless headset role switching. Also disclosed are a wireless headset, a wireless connection device role switching method, a TWS headset and a computer-readable storage medium, having those beneficial effects.

Managing contact status updates in a presence management system

A system configured to perform operations to receive, via a network communication interface, an indication of a power event occurring at a first device. The first device is for an online identity. The power event causes the first device to switch from an external power source to an internal battery. The first device represents that the online identity is online while the first device receives power from the internal battery. The system is further configured to perform operations to hold, at a second device, at least one status update for an online contact of the online identity while the first device receives power from the internal battery. Furthermore, the system is configured to perform operations to release, for transmission to the first device, the at least one status update in response to determining that the first device switches back to the external power source.

Method to select automatically primary and secondary networks to support emergency calls and remote commands in vehicles

A method of selecting primary and secondary cellular networks for a vehicle comprises measuring cellular connectivity parameters for cellular communication between a first subscriber identity module (SIM) and a first cellular network and for cellular communication between a second SIM and a second cellular network, comparing measured cellular connectivity parameters for the first SIM to measured cellular connectivity parameters for the second SIM, designating one of the first SIM and the first cellular network and the second SIM and the second cellular network as a primary network, and designating the other one of the first SIM and the first cellular network and the second SIM and the second cellular network as a secondary network, measuring cellular connectivity parameters for the primary and secondary networks, comparing the measured cellular connectivity parameters for the primary and secondary networks, switching designation of the primary and secondary network based on measured cellular connectivity parameters.

Cellular Modem for Low Power Applications
20200359315 · 2020-11-12 ·

A cellular modem is configured for low power applications. In some instances, the cellular modem includes a transceiver, a processor to control the transceiver, a memory device in communication with the processor, and a general-purpose input/output (GPIO) pin, controlled by the processor. In an example, the cellular modem receives an appointed time for an upcoming communication and determines a time to activate a power supply. The determination may be based at least in part on the appointed time for the communication, so that the power supply is ready to supply power at a level consistent with use of the transceiver at the appointed time of the communication. At the determined time, a signal from the GPIO pin is used to activate the power supply, resulting in an increase in power supplied to the cellular modem in a just-in-time manner.
