DECODING COMPLEXITY FOR MOBILE MULTIMEDIA STREAMING
A decoding complexity may be used to predict power consumption for receiving, decoding, and/or displaying multimedia content at a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU). The decoding complexity may be based on decoding complexity feedback received from a reference device, such as another WTRU. The decoding complexity feedback may be based on measurements performed at the reference device for receiving decoding, and/or displaying the multimedia content. A content providing device may indicate the decoding complexity of requested media content to a WTRU, or another network entity. The decoding complexity may be indicated in a streaming protocol or file associated with the media content. The WTRU, or other network entity, may use the decoding complexity determine its preferences regarding transmission of the media content. The content providing device may determine whether to transmit the media content based on the decoding complexity and/or the preferences of the WTRU or other network entity.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR WIRELESS POWER DELIVERY
A method for wireless power delivery, preferably including: determining transmitter-receiver proximity, assessing transmission parameters, and/or transmitting power based on a transmission plan. A system for wireless power delivery, preferably including a plurality of receivers and one or more transmitters.
Systems and methods for modification of radio access network parameters based on channel propagation models generated using machine learning techniques
A system described herein may provide for the use of artificial intelligence/machine learning (“AI/ML”) techniques to generate models for various locations or regions (e.g., sectors) associated with one or more radio access networks (“RANs”) of a wireless network. The system may further use AI/ML techniques to generate interference models to reflect types and/or amounts of channel propagation metrics measured within the RAN. The system may further determine, based on attributes of a given sector, a sector model and/or a channel propagation model associated with the sector. Based on the sector model and/or the determined channel propagation model, one or more actions may be determined in order to enhance channel propagation metrics within the sector, such as at portions of the sector at which increased demand for wireless service is detected.
Multi-radio device
One example discloses a multi-radio device, including: a controller configured to be coupled to a first radio that is configured to transmit a first signal, and a second radio that is configured to transmit a second signal; wherein the controller includes a detection element configured to detect a third signal generated in response to simultaneous transmission of the first and second signals; wherein the controller includes a decision element configured to modulate one or more information packets in the first and second signals in response to the third signal.
METHODS AND NODE APPARATUS FOR ADAPTIVE NODE COMMUNICATION WITHIN A WIRELESS NODE NETWORK
Systems and apparatus are described for enhanced communication within a wireless node network. A system includes a server and multiple nodes, where each node can generate sensed data about or around the node and receive external data from another node according to a server tracked logical connection between those nodes. At least a subset of the nodes can connect to the server using a first connectivity mode or an intermediary connectivity mode. In the first connectivity mode, a first node of the subset can transmit a message directly to the server without using intermediary ones of the nodes (where the message includes sensed data about or around the first node). In the intermediary connectivity mode, the first node can receive the external data from the another node and transmit the external data to the server (where the external data is sensed data about or around the another node).
RADIO NETWORK NODE AND METHOD PERFORMED THEREIN FOR POWER CONTROL
Embodiments herein disclose e.g. a method performed by a radio network node for controlling power provision of one or more antenna elements associated with a user equipment. The radio network node obtains an indication of a capability relating to an output power of the user equipment; and a state indication of the user equipment indicating an activity level of the user equipment. The radio network node further controls a power arrangement controlling power provision to the one or more antenna elements, based on the state indication and/or the indication of the capability.
FACILITATING REAL-TIME POWER OPTIMIZATION IN ADVANCED NETWORKS
Facilitating real-time power optimization in advanced networks (e.g., 5G, 6G, and beyond) is provided herein. Operations of a method can include determining, by a system comprising a memory and a processor, a power distribution setting for a user equipment that includes multiple radios based on a historical radio power usage, a historical performance result, a current location, and an application currently executing on the user equipment. The method also can include implementing, by the system, the power distribution setting across the multiple radios of the user equipment. The first radio of the multiple radios can be a first radio type and a second radio of the multiple radios can be a second radio type, different from the first radio type.
Controlling transmitter output in a wireless communications network based on regulatory RF exposure limits
Methods, apparatus and computer programs for controlling the output of a transmission point. A method for controlling the output of a transmission point for a wireless communications network. The method comprises: determining an average output power of the transmission point over a period of time; comparing the average output power to an output power reference value; and allocating data, to be transmitted by the transmission point to one or more wireless devices, to a pool of radio resources. The pool of radio resources is adjusted as a function of the comparison between the average output power and the output power reference value.
