A system and method for managing and controlling power of base station when a connectable terminal device is moving at speed through the coverage area of the base station, the method obtains a transmission power from a terminal through the base station; obtains location of the terminal, and generates a transmission power conversion table according to the terminal transmission power and the terminal location. The transmission power conversion table is transmitted to the terminal by the base station, the transmission power being used by the terminal according to the transmission power conversion table, avoiding repeated communications and electrical energy cost between base station and terminal in respect of the changing location of the terminal.

Power Control for Configured Uplink Grant

A wireless device may receive one or more radio resource control (RRC) messages comprising one or more configuration parameters. The one or more configuration parameters may comprise (i) a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource indicator (SRI), for a configured uplink grant, indicating an SRI-physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) power control parameter set and (ii) a pathloss reference signal update parameter enabling an activation command to update pathloss reference signals of an uplink channel. In response to the one or more configuration parameters comprising the pathloss reference signal update parameter, the wireless device may determine a transmission power for a transport block of the configured uplink grant based on a pathloss reference signal mapped to the SRI-PUSCH power control parameter set. The wireless device may transmit the transport block with the transmission power.

In embodiments, a wireless device may determine a downlink path loss based on a downlink signal received from a base station, send via an uplink (UL) receive (Rx) point an initial access signal using a first uplink transmit power based on the downlink path loss, receive an initial access response signal including a transmit power control (TPC) command and an uplink transmit power adjustment, and send a signal to the base station via the UL Rx point using a second uplink transmit power based on the TPC command and the uplink transmit power adjustment. The base station may receive the initial access signal using the first uplink transmit power via the UL Rx point, determine the TPC command and the uplink transmit power adjustment based on the initial access signal, and send to the wireless device the TPC command and the uplink transmit power adjustment.

DOWNLINK POWER ADAPTATION FOR FULL-DUPLEX SYSTEMS

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) supporting full duplex communications may determine that a set of downlink messages to be transmitted from a base station to the UE overlaps in time with a set of uplink messages to be transmitted from the UE. Accordingly, the UE may determine a downlink transmission power adjustment value for the set of downlink messages. In some examples, the base station may indicate the downlink transmission power adjustment value to the UE via radio resource control (RRC) signaling, a downlink control information (DCI) message, or both. The UE may transmit the set of uplink messages while simultaneously receiving the set of downlink messages with a transmission power that corresponds to the downlink transmission power adjustment value. Adjusting the transmission power for the set of downlink messages may reduce self-interference at the UE, the base station, or both.
