PROGRAM FOR ADJUSTING CHANNEL INTERFERENCE BETWEEN ACCESS POINTS IN A WIRELESS NETWORK
The performance and ease of management of wireless communications environments is improved by a mechanism that enables access points (APs) to perform automatic channel selection. A wireless network can therefore include multiple APs, each of which will automatically choose a channel such that channel usage is optimized. Furthermore, APs can perform automatic power adjustment so that multiple APs can operate on the same channel while minimizing interference with each other. Wireless stations are load balanced across APs so that user bandwidth is optimized. A movement detection scheme provides seamless roaming of stations between APs.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
Provided are a method and apparatus for wireless communication capable of meeting data transmission requirements. The method comprises: a first terminal determining, according to a first criterion, a target transmission power for a first physical sidelink channel; and the first terminal using the target transmission power to send the first physical sidelink channel to a second terminal.
Reciprocity-based transmission property adjustment in sidelink communications
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmission-adjusting wireless node may receive a transmission transmitted by a power-reporting wireless node via a sidelink channel. The transmission may include information relating to a transmit power of the transmission. The transmission-adjusting wireless node may determine a transmission-specific estimated path loss of the sidelink channel based at least in part on the transmit power of the transmission. The transmission-adjusting wireless node may adjust, based at least in part on the transmission-specific estimated path loss, a transmission property of the transmission-adjusting wireless node to obtain an adjusted transmission property. The transmission-adjusting wireless node may transmit a communication to the power-reporting wireless node using the adjusted transmission property. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Key fob transmission compensation
A method for adjusting a power setting of a key fob includes receiving an input signal from a sensor by a processor. The processor determines, based at least in part on the input from the sensor, that a person is holding the key fob. Based on the determination that the person is holding the key fob, the processor adjusts an initial power setting of the key fob by a predetermined amount.

Apparatus, method, and system of inter-node communication
Some demonstrative embodiments include devices, systems and/or methods of inter-node communication. For example, a first node may communicate with a second node, e.g., via a backhaul link, one or more messages including a restriction recommendation and/or a restriction setting, for example, a precoding restriction, a Relative Narrowband TX Power indication (RNTP) setting, and/or a Relative Wideband Transmit Power (RWTP) setting.
Methods, systems and devices for varying wireless transmit power based on path loss information
A method can include at a first station in a wireless network, receiving path loss (PL) transmissions from at least a second station, dynamically changing power for transmissions from the first station to the second station based on the received PL information, determining PL values for transmissions received at the first station from other stations, and sending PL transmissions from the first station that include the determined PL values for at least one other station. The PL transmissions are configured to be received by stations of the same wireless network and stations of a different wireless network. Corresponding devices and systems are also disclosed.
POWER SCALING FOR DEMODULATION REFERENCE SIGNAL AND DATA TRANSMISSION
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling which indicates a resource block indicating a number of reference signal tones and data tones in an uplink transmission. In some cases, the UE may determine a first transmission power for the reference signal tones, and a second transmission power for the data tones that is different from the first transmission power. In some other cases, the UE may identify a frequency allocation for the resource block which allocates a same frequency bandwidth for the reference signal tones and the data tones, and the UE may determine a same transmission power for the reference signal tones and the data tones based on the frequency allocation. Based on the determination of transmission powers, the UE may transmit the reference signal tones and the data tones to a base station.
Systems and methods for transmission power adaptation in the network of moving things
Communication network architectures, systems and methods for supporting a network of mobile nodes. As a non-limiting example, various aspects of this disclosure provide communication network architectures, systems, and methods for supporting a dynamically configurable communication network comprising a complex array of both static and moving communication nodes (e.g., the Internet of moving things). For example, a communication network implemented in accordance with various aspects of the present disclosure may support transmission power adaptation in a network of moving things comprising various fixed nodes, mobile nodes, and/or a combination thereof, which are selectable to achieve any of a variety of system goals.
Conscientious power and rate adaptation in a CDMA manet
Determining maximum transmit power by a local node. A method includes identifying one-hop neighbor nodes of the local node in the mesh network. One or more threshold maximum changes in interference caused by the local node increasing its transmit power for each of the one-hop neighbor nodes of the local node are identified. A plurality of power change values are identified. Each power change value in the plurality of power change values corresponds to a power change at the local node that would cause one of the threshold maximum changes in interference to occur at a corresponding one-hop neighbor node of the local node. A lowest power change value from among the plurality of power change values is identified. As a result, power transmitted by the local node is increased, while limiting an increase in power transmitted by the local node to no more than the lowest power change value.
