Method for avoiding stalled motor in a stand mixer with sensorless BLDC drive
A method for operating an appliance, such as a stand mixer, is provided. In one example implementation, the method can include operating a motor of the appliance in a first direction. The method can further include detecting, by a feedback system of the appliance, a first trigger condition. The method can further include, responsive to detecting the first trigger condition, operating the motor of the appliance in a second direction that is different than the first direction.
Micro puree machine
A micro puree machine including a housing, a power shaft, a bowl assembly and a platform. The power shaft extends from the housing. The bowl assembly including at least one locking bowl element. The platform includes at least one complementary locking platform element that is configured to engage the at least one locking bowl element such that rotation of the bowl assembly relative to the platform is prevented at times the bowl assembly is positioned thereon. The platform is rotatable from a first position to a second position relative to the housing such that the platform raises the bowl assembly towards the power shaft during the rotation of the bowl assembly and platform. The raising of the bowl assembly facilitates connection between the power shaft and a blade assembly that is positioned in a lid assembly on the bowl assembly. A blade assembly detection system detects proper positioning of the blade assembly within the lid assembly.
LID ASSEMBLY, PORTABLE RECHARGEABLE BLENDER AND INSULATION CUP BODY
A lid assembly including a housing and a pulverizing device. The housing has a center axis and is adapted to close and seal a cup body of the blender. The pulverizing device is arranged in the housing and includes a pulverizing knife assembly and a driver configured to drive the pulverizing knife assembly to rotate. A rotation axis of the pulverizing knife assembly is offset from the center axis of the housing. The pulverizing knife assembly includes an upper knife, a lower knife, and an intermediate knife disposed between the upper knife and the lower knife, and the upper knife, the lower knife, and the intermediate knife are stacked in an axial direction. The intermediate knife comprises a first blade and a second blade extending in a radial direction, the first blade being inclined upwardly and the second blade being inclined downwardly.
Self-cleaning automated blended drink machine
A stand-alone automated machine for the automatic blending of drinks. The machine will generally puree materials including fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables provided in large particulate sections or chunks within a cup which is available from a neighboring refrigerator or freezer unit. The blending machine can handle all aspects of drink blending as well as automatic cleaning, sanitization, and/or sterilization cycles.
MODULAR BLENDER WITH IMPROVED WATER HEATING AND LIGHT BEAM DETECTION
A blender includes a housing, a water heater supported within the housing, the water heater including an enclosure having an upper portion and a lower portion, a plurality of fluid ports, a heating coil, and a one-way air valve located on the upper portion of the enclosure. The heating coil is primarily located in the lower portion of said enclosure.
BLADE DROP DETECTION FOR A MICRO PUREE MACHINE
An example food processing system is provided. The food processing system include a housing. A drive shaft extends from the housing. The drive shaft includes a first end configured to receive a blade assembly and a second end opposing the first end. At least one sensor is configured to detect a position of the second end of the drive shaft to determine if the blade assembly is coupled to the drive shaft or not.
Kneading or mixing machine
A kneading or mixing machine including a housing with opposite side walls, a motor in the housing for driving a kneading or mixing tool. A safety shield mounted to bearings for turning about an axis (A), the safety shield adapted to at least partly shield the tool when the safety shield is turned to a shielding position, the safety shield including a pair of arms. Each arm having a head at a free end thereof, a central portion of each bearing receiving the head to allow for said turning, and the central portion of each bearing communicating with an entry slit configured for insertion of the head into the central portion in a direction transverse to the axis (A).
LOCKING MECHANISM FOR A TILT HEAD MIXER
A stand mixer may include a casing having a base and a column extending from the base. The casing may define an interior surface directed toward an interior cavity and an exterior surface directed away from the interior cavity. The stand mixer may include a tilting head that extends transversely between a front end and a rear end. The titling head may be pivotable between a closed position and an opened position. The stand mixer includes a motor positioned in the tilting head and a locking mechanism disposed between the tilting head and the column. The locking mechanism may include a linkage arm extending from a first linkage end to a second linkage end. The locking mechanism may also include a button coupled to the first linkage end and one or more locking hooks coupled to the second linkage end in selective engagement with a catch portion.
