Power-adjusted and traffic direction-aware listen-before-talk (LBT) thresholds
Wireless communications systems and methods related to listen-before-talk (LBT) are provided. A first wireless communication device performs an LBT in a channel to contend for a first transmission opportunity (TXOP). The first wireless communication device receives, from a second wireless communication device, a first reservation signal reserving a second TXOP in the channel in response to the LBT, the second TXOP being different from the first TXOP. The first wireless communication device adjusts a signal detection threshold based on transmit power information associated with at least one of the first wireless communication device, the second wireless communication device, first data traffic to be communicated in the first TXOP, or second data traffic to be communicated in the second TXOP. The first wireless communication device determines whether to yield channel access during the second TXOP based on a signal measurement of the first reservation signal and the adjusted signal detection threshold.

The transmitting parameter determination method includes: determining a power control parameter of physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission according to association information between a sounding reference signal resource indicator (SRI) and a PUSCH power control parameter. The power control parameter of the PUSCH transmission includes at least one of an open-loop power control parameter of a PUSCH, a closed-loop power control parameter of a PUSCH, or a pathloss measurement parameter of a PUSCH.

A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a device to perform sidelink transmission. The method includes the device being in RRC (Radio Resource Control)-connected mode in Uu link. The method also includes the device being configured to use at least DL (Downlink) pathloss for sidelink power control. The method further includes the device deriving a first DL pathloss value for determining an uplink transmit power of one specific kind of uplink transmission. In addition, the method includes the device determining or deriving a sidelink transmit power based on the first DL pathloss value. Furthermore, the method includes the device performing a sidelink transmission to other device(s) with the sidelink transmit power.

Pathloss Reference Signal Update
A wireless device receives configuration parameters associated with a cell. The wireless device receives an activation command indicating activation of a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state having a downlink reference signal, the command indicating activation of the TCI state for a control resource set (coreset). The wireless device receives downlink control information (DCI) indicating uplink resources of a time slot of an active uplink bandwidth part of the cell, where a sounding reference signal resource indicator field is absent in the DCI. The wireless device transmits, via the uplink resources, an uplink signal with a transmission power determined based on the reference signal, the transmitting being in response to a parameter enabling a default pathloss reference signal determination and the uplink resources occurring after a predetermined number of measurement samples of the downlink reference signal is obtained.

A method for transmitting a power headroom, a terminal device, and a network device are provided. The method includes: sending a power headroom PH value of a serving cell to a network device, where the PH value is a first PH value of a first sounding reference signal SRS and/or a second PH value of a second SRS; and the first PH value is obtained based on first configuration information of the first SRS, the first SRS is an SRS used for positioning, and the second SRS is an SRS used for measurement.

Disclosed are systems and methods for enhancing sounding resource signal (SRS) communications. In some embodiments, power control parameters and/or spatial relation information is determined prior to transmissions of the SRS signal. The determination may include a dynamic determination or a selection of a power control parameter set from a plurality of power control parameter sets. In some embodiments, cross-SRS interference is reduced when multiple transmissions utilize a same resource by applying orthogonal cover codes (OCC) to the resources prior to transmission.

Methods and systems for adjusting reference signal reporting based on path loss and fading and cell edge conditions experienced by wireless devices in 5G EN-DC networks. As the path loss increases, a period between reference signal reports (or a frequency of reference signal reports) can be increased.
