INTERFERENCE MITIGATION FOR PORTABLE COMMUNICATION DEVICE
Methods and systems for mitigating interference between different transceivers in a portable communication device. An electronic control circuit is configured to quantify an electromagnetic isolation between a first transceiver of a portable communication and a second transceiver of the portable communication device based on a detected radio frequency power coupled to the first transceiver from radio frequency signals transmitted by the second transceiver. A mitigation action is selected from a plurality of mitigation actions based on a magnitude of the quantified electromagnetic isolation. The selected mitigation action is then applied to the second transceiver to adjust at least one radio frequency characteristic of the second transceiver.
SYSTEMS, APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR DYNAMIC NETWORK RECONFIGURATION IN THE PRESENCE OF NARROWBAND INTERFERERS
Embodiments disclosed and described herein provide systems, apparatus and methods by which advanced networks including 5G capable networks and devices can operate to meet standards, while coexisting with non-telecommunication devices that propagate energy at frequencies within bands used by the 5G capable networks and devices. In particular, systems, apparatus and methods disclosed herein mitigate risk of the networks interfering with the propagated energy while maintaining operation of the networks and protecting the networks and devices from the energy.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS FOR ALLOCATING TRANSMISSION POWER BASED ON COMMUNICATION CAPABILITY OF TERMINAL AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
Disclosed is a technology for performing, in an electronic apparatus included in a central station, an uplink- or downlink-related operation by allocating a transmission power intensity based on a transmission and reception capability of a terrestrial terminal.
COORDINATED MULTI-ACCESS POINT TRANSMISSIONS FOR WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK SYSTEMS
A method performed by a first wireless access point for coordinating a multi-access point transmission in a wireless network of multiple access points includes receiving an indication of a transmit opportunity for the first wireless access point, transmitting at least one indication frame to the multiple access points comprising information related to the transmit opportunity, receiving at least one request frame from one or more access points of the multiple access points indicating participation with the transmit opportunity, and transmitting a trigger frame to the one or more access points that indicated participation with the transmit opportunity, wherein the trigger frame comprises information indicating respective power levels for the participating access points. The shared transmit opportunity may then be used to transmit downlink data to associated stations of the first wireless access point and the other participating access points during the transmit opportunity.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COORDINATED SPATIAL REUSE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
A wireless communication method performed by a first apparatus includes acquiring a transmit opportunity (TXOP) to transmit or receive a first physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), identifying a second apparatus for sharing the TXOP, permitting at least one of transmission and reception of a second PPDU to the second apparatus in the shared TXOP, and transmitting the first PPDU to at least one third apparatus in the shared TXOP or receiving the first PPDU from the at least one third apparatus.
MEASUREMENT FOR SPACE REUSE IN MULTI-AP SYSTEM
A method performed at a sharing access point (AP) of a wireless local area network (LAN) system may comprise the steps of: transmitting, to a first station (STA), a first measurement notification frame requesting measurement of a received signal strength indicator (RSSI); transmitting, to the first STA, a first measurement request frame for requesting a first path loss value which is path loss information of an overlapping basic service set (OBSS) AP andthe first STA and an acceptable receiver interference level (ARIL) value; receiving, from the first STA, a first measurement report frame including the first path loss and a first ARIL value of the first STA; and transmitting, to the first STA, first data.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING DOWNLINK TRANSMIT POWER
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining channel cross correlation data relating to multiple user equipment (UEs) being served in a cell, wherein the channel cross correlation data comprises a correlation coefficient associated with a first UE of the multiple UEs and a second UE of the multiple UEs, identifying that the first UE is experiencing decreasing throughput, responsive to the identifying that the first UE is experiencing decreasing throughput, determining whether the correlation coefficient associated with the first UE and the second UE satisfies a correlation threshold, and, based on a first determination that the correlation coefficient does not satisfy the correlation threshold, adjusting a downlink (DL) transmit power allocation for transmissions directed to the first UE. Other embodiments are disclosed.
POWER CONTROL FOR SIGNAL INTERFERENCE MANAGEMENT
Techniques, described herein, include solutions for enabling power control processes within a wireless telecommunications network. A base station may operate in a full duplex mode by simultaneously sending and receiving signals to user equipment (UEs). Power control processes may be implemented to eliminate or mitigate signal interference, such as self-interference at the base station or cross link interference (CLI) at a UE. The power control processes may include causing UEs to transmit signals, a UE and/or the base station measuring interference and causing the base station and/or UEs to modify transmission power to address the signal interference.
Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) threshold adaptation method
Methods and apparatuses are described herein for adapting clear channel assessment (CCA) thresholds with or without Transmit Power Control (TPC) are disclosed. An IEEE 802.11 station (STA) may dynamically calculate a STA specific transmit power control (TPC) value and a STA specific clear channel assessment (CCA) value based on a target TPC parameter and a target CCA parameter. The target TPC parameter and the target CCA parameter may be received from an IEEE 802.11 cluster head configured to control TPC and CCA for a plurality of STAs associated with the BSS. The target TPC parameter and the target CCA parameter also may be related. The STA may then determine whether a carrier sense multiple access (CSMA) wireless medium of a wireless local area network (WLAN) basic service set (BSS) is occupied or idle based on the STA specific CCA value.
SIGNALING OF NON-LINEARITIES FOR INTER-UE INTERFERENCE CANCELLATION
Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support mechanisms signaling non-linearities to a victim user equipment (UE) for interference cancellation in a wireless communication system. A victim UE may experience interference from an uplink transmission by an aggressor UE to a base station. The victim UE may obtain a power amplifier model associated with the aggressor UE. The power amplifier may include a non-linearity model of a power amplifier of the aggressor UE causing the interference on the victim UE. The power amplifier model obtained by the victim UE may be dependent on various parameters, such as a transmit power used by the aggressor UE to transmit the uplink transmission causing the interference. Based on the aggressor UE transmit power, the victim UE may select parameters for power amplifier model and may estimate the interference caused by the uplink transmission for interference cancellation.
