Power Control for Channel State Information
Channel state information (CSI) reporting may be used for wireless communications. CSI reporting may be activated or deactivated. During the activation of CSI reporting and based on one or more criteria, a scheduled uplink transmission may be selected.
TERMINAL AND COMMUNICATION METHOD
A terminal includes a control unit configured to determine, in a case where a first transmission to another terminal overlaps in at least a time domain with a second transmission to a base station, which of the transmissions is to be prioritized and a transmission unit configured to perform power control or transmission control for the first transmission and the second transmission, based on the determination, wherein the control unit changes control associated with determination of a priority order of the transmissions, based on a configuration associated with communication.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR NEW-RADIO-AWARE LTE SCHEDULING
New Radio (NR)-aware LTE scheduling is provided. An access station for a radio access network includes a first scheduling function. The first scheduling function identifies a User Equipment (UE) device that has a first active wireless connection and a second active wireless connection to the radio access network. The first scheduling function determines that expanded coverage is need for an uplink transmission for the second active wireless connection and obtains uplink scheduling information for the second active wireless connection. The first scheduling function adjusts uplink scheduling for the first active wireless connection such that power sharing is prioritized for uplink time intervals of the second active wireless connection over overlapping uplink time intervals of the first active wireless connection.
Apparatus and method for controlling uplink transmission power in a multiple element carrier wave system
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for controlling uplink transmission power in a multiple element carrier wave system. The method for controlling uplink transmission power by a terminal in a multiple element carrier wave system includes the steps of: generating an uplink signal to be transmitted in a first serving cell; receiving, from a base station, random access start information for commanding the start of a random access procedure for a second serving cell; calculating the estimated surplus power from first transmission power scheduled for an uplink signal transmission, and second transmission power scheduled for a transmission of a PRACH to which a random access preamble is mapped; and when the estimated surplus power is smaller than a threshold power, adjusting the first transmission power or the second transmission power on the basis of power allocation priority.
Techniques for power control using carrier aggregation in wireless communications
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for managing transmissions using multiple component carriers (CCs) in which transmissions using one or more of the CCs may span less than a full transmission time of a slot or other transmission time interval. A UE may signal a capability to transmit such transmissions, and one or more capabilities related to carrier aggregation that may be used by a base station for scheduling of transmissions on different CCs. In the event that overlapping transmissions on two or more CCs exceed a maximum power threshold, various techniques for dropping at least a portion of one or more transmissions of one or more CCs are described.
DYNAMIC FREQUENCY COORDINATION IN SHARED WIRELESS COMMUNICATION ENVIRONMENTS
Various embodiments herein disclose coordinating frequencies for an access point (AP). A corresponding method comprises evaluating a performance profile for the AP, the performance profile comprising a first part related to a first network generated by a first radio of the AP and a second part related to a second network generated by a second radio of the AP. The method also comprises selecting first channels on which the AP generates the first network based on the performance profile and spectral regrowth profiles for transmission power levels of the first radio. The method additionally comprises selecting second channels on which the AP generates the second network based at least in part on the performance profile and the spectral regrowth profiles. Furthermore, the method comprises enabling communications between a first set of devices on the first channels and enabling communications between a second set of devices on the second channels.
Method and Apparatus for reporting buffer status report by RRC_INACTIVE state UE in mobile wireless communication system
A method and apparatus for data transfer in RRC_INACTIVE state is provided. Method for data transfer in RRC_INACTIVE state includes receiving configuration information for second resume procedure, initiating second resume procedure and transmitting an uplink RRC message together with data in a MAC PDU. During the procedure, specific radio bearers are resumed and MAC CE are transmitted for data transmission.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NETWORK-ASSISTED AND SELF-ADJUSTING POWER AND SECURITY CONTROL FOR WIRELESS LINKS
An information handling system of a management and orchestration module (MANO) may comprise a processor configured to determine user equipment device (UE) connectivity requirements for multiple UEs managed by the MANO, including a first UE transceiving via a first secure wireless link and a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) antenna with a non-cellular Access Point (AP), determine enterprise profile requirements for the UEs and detected network conditions of radio access networks (RANs) and cores of an enterprise mobile network, generate an optimal wireless link distribution across UEs that prioritizes access for the first UE to links with RANs, and determine a wireless link configuration adjustment for the first UE instructing termination of the first secure wireless link and establishment of a second secure wireless link with a RAN, according to the optimal wireless link distribution. A network interface device may transmit the wireless link configuration adjustment to the first UE.
METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING TRANSMISSION POWER OF SIGNAL
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a transceiver module supporting at least one communication method and a processor operatively connected to the transceiver module. The processor may identify an output state of a signal corresponding to the at least one communication method through the transceiver module, may detect a signal output level corresponding to the at least one communication method of the signal being output, may identify use pattern information corresponding to the at least one communication method through the transceiver module, and may adjust a transmission power value corresponding to the at least one communication method based on the detected signal output level and the use pattern information.
Uplink transmission techniques for exposure limited transmissions
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for handling uplink grants that have associated uplink transmission that may exceed exposure limits. Exposure limits may be based on maximum permissible exposure (MPE) limits of millimeter wave transmissions and may be determined at a user equipment (UE) and provided to a base station. If the UE receives an uplink grant for a transmission in which an associated uplink transmission would exceed the exposure limits, the UE may drop the uplink transmission prior to forming a transport block, transmit control signaling to the base station to indicate the exposure limits at the UE, or combinations thereof.
