WIRELESS TRANSMISSION IN SHARED WIRELESS MEDIUM ENVIRONMENTS
20230216924 · 2023-07-06 · ·

Support of coexistence of wireless transmission equipment in shared wireless medium environments is disclosed, which is applicable to various types of wireless transmission equipment. For instance, a wireless power transmission system (WPTS) delivers power to wireless power receiver clients via transmission of wireless power signals using one or more frequencies and/or channels within shared wireless medium environments in which other wireless equipment is operating, such as access points and stations in wireless local area networks (WLANs). The WPTS is configured to co-exist with the operations of the other wireless equipment within the shared wireless medium environment by adapting its transmission operations to utilize frequencies or channels that do not interfere with other equipment and/or implementing co-channel and shared channels operations under which access to channels is implemented using standardized WLAN protocols such as PHY and MAC protocols used for 802.11 (Wi-Fi™) networks.

Wireless network synchronization of cells and client devices on a network

A system and method for wireless synchronization on a network are disclosed. In one embodiment, the wireless device includes a wireless transceiver and processing circuitry. The wireless transceiver wirelessly receives synchronization information including a superframe from a first wireless, reader device, and wirelessly transmits the synchronization information to a second wireless, reader device and a portable wireless device, and to wirelessly detect a presence of a portable wireless device. The processing circuitry communicates synchronization information to the second wireless, reader device and portable wireless device. The superframe is used to synchronize a wireless data exchange between the third wireless, reader device and the portable wireless device.

Subband-based random access and scheduling request for new-radio-spectrum sharing (NR-SS)

Wireless communications systems and methods related to performing subband-based random access and/or subband-based scheduling request in a network are provided. A first wireless communication device receives a communication configuration indicating one or more subbands for transmitting a signal including at least one of a random access preamble sequence or a scheduling request. The first wireless communication device performs a clear channel assessment (CCA) on each subband of the one or more subbands. The first wireless communication device transmits the signal using at least one subband of the one or more subbands based on a result of the CCA.

Communication apparatus and communication method

In an AP, a Trigger frame generator generates a trigger signal instructing an uplink signal transmission, the trigger signal including a terminal information field that includes a terminal ID subfield and a resource unit allocation information subfield, and a radio transmitter/receiver transmits the trigger signal. In a case where the trigger signal includes a first terminal information field specifying one or more contiguous resource units for random access, the Trigger frame generator sets an unused ID that is not to be used as a terminal ID in the first terminal information field.

Method and device in communication node used for wireless communication

A method and a device in a communication node used for wireless communications is disclosed in the present disclosure. The communication node first receives first information and second information; and transmits a first radio signal in a first time window; and then transmits a second radio signal; the first information is used to determine a target time window, the second radio signal occupies a second time window in time domain, and the second information is used to determine at least one of whether the second time window belongs to the target time window or a relative position relationship between the second time window and the target time window; an end of the first time window is earlier than a start of the target time window. The present disclosure helps improve the utilization ratio of resources in Grant-Free transmission.

Wireless local area network management

An access point manages a first wireless local area network (WLAN) in a 6 GHz radio frequency (RF) band and ii) a second WLAN operating in another RF band. The access point generates a physical layer (PHY) data unit to include a management frame having i) first information indicating first network parameters of the first WLAN, and ii) second information indicating second network parameters of the second WLAN. The AP transmits the PHY data unit in the other RF band to provide, to any client stations that are operating in the other RF band and that are also capable of operating in the 6 GHz band: the first information indicating the first network parameters of the first WLAN operating in the 6 GHz RF band to assist the any client stations that are operating in the other RF band with joining the first WLAN operating in the 6 GHz RF band.

Various embodiments comprise systems, methods, architectures, mechanisms and apparatus providing improved National Security and Emergency Preparedness (NS/EP) Priority Services mechanisms within the context of IEEE 802.11-type networks.

Radio network measurements in case of missing reference signals

The present disclosure relates to a user equipment (UE) comprises a receiver, which receives reference signals from a serving base station on which the UE is camping, the serving base station controlling an unlicensed serving radio cell in which the UE is located. Processing circuitry of the UE monitors the reception of reference signals to determine a number of reference signals that are continuously missing. The processing circuitry determines to perform cell re-selection from the unlicensed serving radio cell on which the UE is camping to another radio cell that has a different frequency than the unlicensed serving radio cell, in case the determined number of reference signals that are continuously missing is above a threshold.
