BLENDER AND FOOD PROCESSOR COMBINATION WITH SAFETY FEATURES
An appliance operable in a first configuration as a blender and in a second configuration as a food processor, with safety mechanisms that work for both configurations. In the blender configuration, the appliance has safety mechanisms in a blade attachment that function to prevent the motor from operating unless the blade attachment is properly secured to the motor base and a blender container is properly secured to the blade attachment. In the food processor configuration, the appliance has safety mechanisms that function to prevent the motor from operating unless a food processor container is properly secured to the motor base and a lid is properly secured to the food processor container.
BLADE ASSEMBLY AND FOOD PROCESSOR HAVING SAME
A blade assembly and a food processor having the same are provided. The blade assembly includes an inner blade shaft, an outer blade shaft, an inner joint assembly, and an outer joint assembly. The outer blade shaft is fitted over the inner blade shaft. The inner joint assembly includes an inner blade joint, an inner motor joint, and an inner sealing head. The inner sealing head is connected between the inner blade joint and the inner motor joint, the inner blade joint is connected to the inner blade shaft. The outer joint assembly includes an outer blade joint, an outer motor joint, and an outer sealing head, the outer sealing head is connected between the outer blade joint and the outer motor joint, and the outer blade joint is connected to the outer blade shaft.
Blender system with rotatable blade assembly
A blender system includes a container having a rotatable blade assembly therein, a lid covering an open end of the container, and a base with a motorized unit. When the container is coupled with the base, the motorized unit is adapted to drive rotation of the rotatable blade assembly. The lid includes a hinged actuator lever adapted to actuate the motorized unit. A detent extends from the hinged actuator lever and passes through a series of apertures and presses against a slidable actuator shaft disposed in the container and maintained in its position by a spring force, thereby depressing a switch for the motorized unit. A rotatable blade system includes cutting blade(s) and crushing blade(s). The crushing blade extends longitudinally outwardly from a hub. When the hub rotates in a first direction or second direction opposite the first direction, a face of the crushing blade is leading or trailing, respectively.
ACTIVELY-COOLED BLENDER APPLIANCE
A blender appliance, as provided herein, may include a container body, a rotatable blade, a motor, and a thermo-electric heat exchanger. The container body may include an inner shell and a conduction wall. The inner shell may define a fluid cavity. The conduction wall may be spaced apart from the fluid cavity outward along a radial direction. The rotatable blade may be rotatably disposed within the fluid cavity. The motor may be in selective mechanical communication with the rotatable blade to motivate rotation thereof. The thermo-electric heat exchanger may be mounted within the container body in thermal communication with the fluid cavity.
Food processor
A food processor for processing food stuffs having a base assembly, a jar assembly, and a blade assembly that can be rotated from a use position to a stored position is disclosed. The food processor includes a lid that is connected to the jar assembly by a hinge and closed by use of a latch. The jar assembly is connected to the base assembly by the use of push pins on the base assembly which engage corresponding holes on the jar assembly.
Blending blade and apparatus
A blending apparatus blade is described which includes one or more arms and which is configured to be rotated in a first rotational direction to perform a blending operation and in a second rotational direction to perform a mixing operation. The blade may further include a paddle portion which is designed to improve mixing during a mixing operation whilst having minimal impact on the blending operation. Also described is a blending apparatus including this blade. The apparatus is preferably portable and the contents can be sealed within for transport. The apparatus may also include a drinking spout with a removable cap so that the contents can be consumed directly from the apparatus, a method of controlling a blending apparatus is also described.
BLENDER SYSTEM WITH VIBRATION PROOF SEAL
Disclosed are a container assembly and a food processing system (20) comprising thereof. The container assembly includes a sealable body including a chamber (32), a chamber opening (56) formed in the sealable body, and a vacuum sealing assembly (52) mounted to the sealable body adjacent the chamber opening (56). The vacuum sealing assembly (52) includes a needle valve (60) having a needle valve opening formed therein. The needle valve (60) is movable relative to the chamber opening (56) such that the needle valve opening is movable into and out of the chamber (32). A biasing mechanism (74) is operably coupled to the needle valve (60) to move the needle valve opening out of the chamber (32).
Blender
