Radiant furniture
10463148 · 2019-11-05 ·

Radiant furniture made of a concrete mix includes one or more heating elements or hot water supplied hydronic tubing that provide comfortable radiant heat. Tabletops can be heated to a temperature that is comfortable for people seated at the table. Other tabletops can be heated to a lower temperature for use in a greenhouse. Benches and seats can be heated to provide comfortable heated seating. Combinations can also be used together, such as a heated tabletop with heated seats. A controller senses the temperature of the furniture and the ambient temperature, then applies power to one or more heating elements in the furniture according to programmed temperature thresholds to provide comfortable radiant heat from the furniture.

Micro multi-array heater and micro multi-array sensor

A micro multi-array heater and a micro multi-array sensor provided with the micro multi-array heater are provided. The micro multi-array heater includes a substrate and a heater electrode formed on the substrate. The heater electrode includes a first heater electrode having a first heat generation pattern and a second heater electrode having a second heat generation pattern. The first heat generation pattern and the second heat generation pattern are formed to have different heat generation amounts.

Heat trace characterization and control method and system

The present invention involves calibrating a control system to enable resistance-based control of a heat tracing circuit, that includes characterizing a piece of heat trace to determine a relationship between resistance and temperature, allowing for more precise control. Also described are different methods for practical resistance-based control of a heat trace system. Further described are several methods to monitor heat trace: including methods to enhance monitoring capabilities using a system operating model; comparison to historical operating data; and inclusion of information from external sources. Also provided is a method by which a piece of heat trace of unknown length and power factor can be controlled using the resistance-based method when other system information is available.

REFRIGERATOR PLANAR HEATING ELEMENT AND HEATING CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR

A refrigerator planar heating element is arranged inside a refrigerator to radiate heat. The refrigerator planar heating element includes a defrosting planar heating element including a first substrate having one surface on which a first pattern for radiating heat is printed with conductive ink, a second substrate having one surface on which a second pattern for radiating heat and having the same form as the pattern of the first substrate is printed with conductive ink, and an adhesive layer performing bonding such that the patterns of the first substrate and the second substrate are overlapped in a vertical direction. The invention has heating performance more excellent than that of conventional heating elements, and applies an inverse current patterning technique so as to make a current flow in opposite directions at both surfaces of a substrate, thereby effectively shielding electromagnetic waves.
