SUSPENSION FABRIC SEAT HEATING SYSTEM
A method for making a seat includes the step of overmolding a carrier onto a fabric seat surface. The fabric surface is formed from a woven fabric material having heating element fibers. The heating element fibers are placed in contact with a conductor. The carrier and the conductor are then positioned into a frame.
Conductive anti-icing coating systems and methods
The present disclosure provides methods of coating a substrate. A method includes depositing a conductive coating including an electrically conductive material over the substrate to form a conductive layer having a sheet resistivity of about 10 Ω/□ to about 1000 Ω/□. The method includes depositing an anti-icing layer comprising nanomaterials over the conductive layer to form a coating system.
PORTABLE MULTIZONE VAPORIZER
Systems and devices for smoke free release of pant resins for use with tobacco or cannabis, including utilizing a removable cartridge which may contain metal foil regions. The cartridge is placed removably into a guide wherein heating occurs in zones via conductive and / or inductive heating elements. Such heat being at a sufficient temperature to vaporize resins or oils on plant material such as hemp, tobacco and cannabis, for inhalation from the cartridge.

In particular, described herein are portable devices for generating a low-temperature inhalable vapor having an elongated tubular body containing a vaporization chamber and a battery-powered heater, a removable mouthpiece covering the vaporization chamber, a display configured to indicate the temperature of the vaporization chamber; a microcontroller configured to regulate the temperature of the vaporization chamber, and a control to select from among a variety of temperature settings.
PPTC HEATING ELEMENT HAVING VARYING POWER DENSITY
A pPTC heating device having areas with different power densities distributed over the surface of the device. The device is constructed using a base layer composed of a pPTC material having a layer of sectioned conductive plates disposed over and under the layer of pPTC such as to control the path of the current through the device, thereby controlling resistance of the device and the power density of the device.
Portable temperature controlled aromatherapy vaporizers
Disclosed herein are aspects of portable vaporizers and methods to control temperature and operation of same. A printed circuit board in signal communications with at least one temperature sensor controls the power flow to a resistance heater to select the temperature produced by heating elements in the furnace. A rechargeable battery power supply is mounted in a body to supply power the heating element via an application or via direct interface the user communicates with the control system.
LIGHT ASSEMBLY HEATER SYSTEMS, APPARATUS, AND METHODS
A heater system for an LED light assembly having a lens includes a flexible composite positioned around an outer surface of the lens. The flexible composite includes a polymer base layer, a plurality of conductive buses provided on the base layer, and a resistive layer electrically connecting the plurality of buses to form a circuit. The resistive layer includes conductor particles dispersed in a polymer matrix. The resistive layer has a crystalline first condition prior to applying electricity to one of the buses and an amorphous second condition in response to applying electricity to one of the buses.
ELECTRICALLY-HEATED FIBER, FABRIC, OR TEXTILE FOR HEATED APPAREL
A heating element composite comprises a substrate of one or more fibers or threads and an electrically-conductive polymer coating comprising an electrically-conductive polymer material deposited onto the one or more fibers or threads. A thickness of the electrically-conductive polymer coating is at least about 100 nanometers and the electrically-conductive polymer coating covers at least about 75% of an external surface area of the one or more fibers or threads of the substrate. The resulting heating element composite has a sheet resistance of from about 2 Ω/□ to about 200 Ω/□.
Stretchable polymer thick film carbon black composition for wearable heaters
A polymer thick film carbon black composition comprising 6-13 wt % conductive carbon black powder; and 87-94 wt % organic medium comprising thermoplastic polyurethane resin dissolved in an organic solvent may be used to form the resistive element of heaters in applications where significant stretching is required, particularly on substrates that can be highly elongated and, in particular, that can be used in wearable garment applications.
Conductive Polymer Composition
An electrically or thermally conductive polymer composition, includes: a polyester polymer having a backbone including at least 12 consecutive carbon atoms between ester linkages; and conductive particles dispersed in the polyester polymer. A component including an electrically or thermally conductive polymer composition is also disclosed. A method for self-regulating a temperature of a component is also disclosed.
