Heating of printed circuit board core during laminate cure
A multilayer printed circuit board (PCB) includes a laminate between a first core and a second core. The first core is located in a middle position of the multi-layer PCB and includes a resistive heating element directly upon a first core substrate. A portion of the resistive heating element protrudes from the multi-layer PCB perimeter. A laminator that fabricates the PCB includes a platen, a power supply, a processor, and memory that has program instructions embodied therewith which are readable by the processor to cause the laminator to position the platen against a surface of the multi-layer PCB and cure the laminate by heating the multi-layer PCB with the platen and cure the laminate by heating the multi-layer PCB with the resistive heating element.
HEATER, FIXING DEVICE, IMAGE-FORMING DEVICE, AND HEATING DEVICE
Provided is a heater that is excellent in heat equalizing property even when being narrow in a sweep direction. Also provided are a fixing device, an image-forming device, and a heating device each including such a heater. A heater is configured to heat an object to be heated in such a manner that at least one of the object to be heated and the heater is swept with the heater disposed opposite the object to be heated. The heater includes a base having a rectangular shape and a plurality of heating cells each independently receiving power supply, the heating cells being disposed on the base and arranged in a longitudinal direction of the base. Each of the heating cells includes a plurality of lateral wires extending in substantially parallel with the longitudinal direction of the base and a plurality of oblique wires tilted relative to the lateral wires.
CERAMIC STRUCTURE AND WAFER SYSTEM
A heater includes a base body, a resistance heating element, and a terminal part. The base body is made of ceramic and is plate shaped including an upper surface on which a wafer is superimposed and a lower surface on an opposite side to the upper surface. The resistance heating element is located inside the base body. The terminal part is electrically connected to the resistance heating element, is at least partially located inside the base body, and is exposed from, the lower surface of the base body to an exterior of the base body. The lower surface of the base body includes an adjacent region which surrounds the terminal part. The adjacent region includes an inclined surface in a portion reaching the terminal part.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HOLDING DEVICE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING STRUCTURE FOR HOLDING DEVICE, AND HOLDING DEVICE
A holding device that holds an object on a first surface of a first portion of a plate-shaped member includes a heater pattern formed on a ceramic green sheet and a cover layer covering the heater pattern. A second portion of the plate-shaped member and a heater electrode are manufactured by firing a layered body constituted by a plurality of ceramic green sheets. A second joining portion joins the second portion and a base member. A temperature distribution of a second surface of the second portion is measured while cooling with a cooling mechanism of the base member and supplying power to the heater electrode. Based on a result of the measurement, an electrical resistance of the heater electrode is adjusted by removing a portion of the heater electrode together with the cover layer. A first joining portion joins the second portion and the first portion of the plate-shaped member.
