Magnetometers, atomic sensors and related systems, methods and devices are disclosed. The magnetometer includes an alkali vapor cell and illumination source configured to emit light and a detector that receives the light and a heating element. The magnetometer also includes a folded baseplate such that light emitted from the illumination source is directed to the alkali vapor cell, and light emerging from the alkali vapor cell is directed to the light detector.
COOKTOP WITH A HEATING COATING
A cooktop includes a base and an electrically conductive coating applied to the lower surface of the base. The coating is composed of a paint containing electrically conductive particles dispersed in a silicone or polyester-silicone or epoxy-silicone resin. The conductive particles are selected from the group consisting of multi-wall or single-wall carbon nanotubes, graphene, copper metallic particles, nickel metallic particles, or combinations thereof.

A vaporizing assembly for an aerosol-generating system may comprise a delivery device and a heater assembly. The heater assembly may comprise a heat resistive substrate and a heating element. The delivery device is configured to deliver an aerosol-forming substrate to at least a surface of the heat resistive substrate, wherein the heating element is isolated or separated from the aerosol-forming substrate by the heat resistive substrate. The present disclosure is also directed to a method for generating an aerosol.
Heating device
A heating device includes a holding member and having thereinside a plurality of resistive heating elements connected to different pairs of electrode terminals, and a columnar support member joined to the holding member. A first resistive heating element is disposed throughout a first region including a region that overlaps the columnar support member as viewed from the first direction and a second region that is located around an outer periphery of the first region and that does not overlap the columnar support member as viewed from the first direction. A second resistive heating element is disposed throughout the first region and the second region, and an amount of heat generated by the second resistive heating element per unit area of the first region is larger than an amount of heat generated by the second resistive heating element per unit area of the second region.
THERMALLY-ACTUATED GAS VALVE WITH CERAMIC HEATER
A thermally-actuatable gas valve assembly comprising a ceramic heater is shown and described. The gas valve assembly comprises a housing with a gas inlet and a gas outlet. A bimetal thermal actuator has a valve plug that removably seals the gas outlet from the interior of the housing. The ceramic heater is energizable to cause the thermal actuator to deflect which unseats the valve plug from the gas outlet, thereby placing the gas outlet in fluid communication with the gas inlet and the interior of the housing. A gas heating system is also shown and described in which the gas valve assembly selectively supplies cooking gas to a silicon nitride ceramic igniter. The igniter and the heater are in series such that when a source of alternating current is applied across the igniter and the heater, the igniter reaches the autoignition temperature of the combustion gas before the valve assembly opens
CERAMIC HEATER AND METHOD OF FORMING USING TRANSIENT LIQUID PHASE BONDING
A heater includes an aluminum nitride (AlN) substrate and a heating layer. The heating layer is made from a molybdenum material and is bonded to the AlN substrate via transient liquid phase bonding. The heater can also include a routing layer and a plurality of first conductive vias connecting the heating layer to the routing layer. The routing layer and the plurality of first conductive vias can be made from the molybdenum material and at least one of the routing layer and the plurality of first conductive vias are bonded to the AlN substrate via a transient liquid phase bond. A plurality of second conductive vias connecting the routing layer to a surface of the AlN substrate can be included and the plurality of second conductive vias are made of the molybdenum material and can be bonded to the AlN substrate via a transient liquid phase bond.
ATOMIZATION CORE, ATOMIZER COMPRISING SAME, AND ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE
This application relates to an atomization core and an atomizer including same and an electronic cigarette. The atomization core includes a porous ceramic substrate and a heating layer arranged on the porous ceramic substrate, wherein the permeation rate of the porous ceramic substrate is in a range of 0.8 mg/s.bar.mm.sup.2 to 4.0 mg/s.bar.mm.sup.2. In this application, problems of dry heating and oil leakage of the atomization core are resolved by using the porous ceramic substrate with a proper permeation rate. Through the electronic cigarette in this application, a relatively large smoke generation rate and a relatively large smoke amount can be realized, thereby improving an inhalation experience for users.
