20200128624 · 2020-04-23 ·

A temperature control system for a vehicle body includes a temperature control tape disposed adjacent weather exposed surfaces of the vehicle body in a circuit network configured to uniformly control a temperature on the vehicle body surfaces. Repeater pads are connected by the temperature control tape. The repeater pads are engineered to generate a temperature difference in relation to an ambient temperature of an air surrounding the vehicle body. A temperature control fluid with a high specific heat is brought to a predetermined temperature and circulated through the control tape circuits by the repeater pads. A timer is configured to start and stop a circulation of the temperature control fluid. The temperature control tape is inlaid in the surfaces of the vehicle body or overlaid on the surfaces of the vehicle body and is magnetic or formed into the vehicle body at the time of original manufacture in various patterns.

Embodiments of the invention provide a self-regulating heating cable. The cable includes a primary jacket including a first low-smoke, zero halogen material. The cable also includes a braid surrounding the primary jacket. The cable also includes a final jacket surrounding the braid and comprising a second low-smoke, zero halogen material. The final jacket is formed to the braid during an extrusion process in order to create a mated connection between the final jacket and the braid.

VERIFICATION OF INTERACTIONS SYSTEM AND METHOD

A system and method is disclosed. The method comprises a client device receiving a verification request comprising an interaction identifier. The client device can then query a full node for a random sampling of block headers from the full node. The client device can receive the random sampling of block headers from the full node, and verify the random sampling of block headers. The client device can then determine that the blockchain maintained by the full node is valid after verifying the random sampling of block headers.

A self-regulating heater cable includes a PTC core formed of positive temperature coefficient material and disposed in electrical contact with at least two bus wires. The PTC core may encapsulate the bus wires and space the bus wires apart a predetermined distance via a connecting portion of the PTC core. The connecting portion has a tapered profile, and is thinner at the ends approximate the bus wires and thicker in a portion between the ends, which portion may be toward or at the center of the connecting portion. The thicknesses of the ends and the thicker portion are selected to produce a ratio that is within a range at which the heater cable produces heat at its outer surface with a substantially uniform profile, and primary heat generation of the heater cable has not shifted from the center of the connecting portion to the ends of the connecting portion.
