Packaging for a food product has a box made from cardboard material with a base and a lid. The lid is fitted pivoting around a hinge fixed to the base. An electrically conducting foil is installed so as to separate the food product and the base. The lid is cut by a cutting line extending to define a central area and a peripheral area each arranged pivotally with respect to the base. The central area is inscribed inside the peripheral area. The central area is facing the electrically conducting foil and extends partly in a front side panel of the lid opposite the side panel supporting the hinge.

In said inductive cooking mode the cooking system is operable as an inductive cooker and in said convective cooking mode the cooking system is operable as a convection cooker.

A food-serving method includes an ordering process, a preparing process, and a serving process. A consumer may choose later pick-up and optionally specify a pick-up time. Then, if the consumer chooses later pick-up but does not specify a pick-up time, the storage device serves the meal; if the consumer chooses later pick-up and specifies a pick-up time, the food-preparing device serves the meal, but the meal will be conveyed to the storage device after a pre-set time. Thus, a waiting time of the consumer may be reduced, and a formerly ordered but not-yet-picked-up meal may not interfere with a later consumer.
