A magnetron generator is positioned adjacent the multimode cavity and is electromagnetically coupled with liquid within the reaction vessel. A stirring motor is positioned adjacent a bottom surface of multimode cavity and operatively coupled with the reaction vessel to stir the liquid within reaction vessel. A parabolic arm air cooled condenser is terminally connected to the reaction vessel to be in fluid communication with the reaction vessel. A gravity vacuum funnel, where the gravity vacuum funnel is in communication with a first air/water cooled condenser. The first air/water cooled condenser outputs fresh water to a fresh water storage unit.
FORMATION EVALUATION WITH TARGETED HEATING
A wellbore tool includes a body having a longitudinal axis and an outer circumferential surface. The wellbore tool includes moveable arms, housings, actuators, a temperature sensor, a pressure sensor, and a heat source, such as a microwave source. Each moveable arm is coupled to a respective actuator and a respective housing. Each actuator is configured to move the respective moveable arm. The temperature sensor is configured to measure a temperature of the subterranean formation. The pressure sensor is configured to measure a pressure of the subterranean formation. The microwave source is configured to generate microwave radiation. Methods of analyzing acquired transient temperature and transient pressure data for formation evaluation are also described.
Solid state radio frequency (SSRF) water heater device
A solid-state radio frequency (SSRF) water heating apparatus is disclosed. In embodiments, the SSRF water heater includes a water tank, SSRF generator array and RF sensors enclosed within an RF-shielded cage. The SSRF array synthesizes RF signals in the microwave range and transmits the RF energy through the water tank, exciting and heating the water molecules without direct contact. The RF sensors at the opposite end of the tank sense residual RF energy not absorbed by the water. Control processors regulate the generation and transmission of the RF energy based on the sensed residual energy. The heated water and/or generated steam is piped to hot water dispensers, beverage makers, or steam ovens.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING MICROWAVE HEATING SYSTEMS
A method for processing articles using a microwave heating system includes obtaining an operating profile for heating a type of article using the microwave heating system. The operating profile includes a temperature-time profile for a target F.sub.0 value and a group of set point values for achieving the temperature-time profile, the group of set point values including a target for a control parameter of the microwave heating system. Using a control system operatively coupled to the microwave heating system, the microwave heating system is operated in accordance with the group of set point values such that each of the articles achieves an F.sub.0 value that is greater than or equal to the target F.sub.0 value.
Measuring probe for temperatures of foods
A measuring probe includes a measuring tip embodied for insertion into a food. Accommodated in the measuring tip is a thermocouple to determine a (core) temperature of the food, an energy storage unit to supply the measuring probe with electrical energy, and a light source to output a light signal as a function of the (core) temperature of the food determined by the thermocouple.
OVEN HAVING AN IMAGING SYSTEM FOR FOOD PREPARATION
An oven may include an image processing system configured to take images of an interior of a cavity of the oven. Images of the interior of the oven cavity captured by the image processing system are input into a machine learning model trained to identify food items in the image. The oven uses the identity of the food item output by the machine learning model to determine a cooking program for the food item and cooks the food item according to the cooking program. The oven may use the image processing system to monitor the cooking process of the food item and update the cooking program during the cooking process based on the observed progress.

VARIABLE PEAK WAVELENGTH COOKING INSTRUMENT WITH SUPPORT TRAY
Several embodiments include a cooking appliance/instrument (e.g., oven). The cooking appliance/instrument can include a cooking chamber, a support tray adapted to hold food in the cooking chamber; and a heating system comprised of at least a heating element. The heating system is adapted to emit waves according to a particular configuration such that the emitted waves is substantially transparent or substantially opaque to the support tray and thus enabling the cooking instrument to select what to heat.
HIGH-FREQUENCY HEATING APPARATUS
A high-frequency heating apparatus includes: a heating chamber for accommodating a load; a microwave source; at least one radiator; a temperature detector; and a controller. The microwave source generates a microwave and adjusts the frequency and output of the microwave. The at least one radiator radiates a microwave into the heating chamber. The temperature detector detects the temperature in the heating chamber. The controller causes the microwave source to adjust the output of the microwave based on the temperature profile that defines the temperature change in the load, and the temperature in the heating chamber. According to this aspect, food can be heated in accordance with the temperature profile appropriate for the cooking recipe, thereby ensuring the quality of cooked food.
