Susceptor structure
A microwave energy interactive structure includes a first susceptor film including a first layer of microwave energy interactive material supported on a first polymer film, a moisture-containing layer joined to the first layer of microwave energy interactive material, an adjoining layer joined to the moisture-containing layer such that the moisture-containing layer is disposed between the susceptor film and the adjoining layer, and a second layer of microwave energy interactive material on a side of the adjoining layer opposite the moisture-containing layer. The adjoining layer may be joined to the moisture-containing layer by a discontinuous adhesive layer.
Heating cooker with safety device for microwave oven
A heating cooker for a microwave oven in which in a main body through which microwaves are transmitted, an upper portion of a metallic pan is closely coupled, and a heating sheet receiving the microwaves and generating heat and an insulating support are coupled in order onto an undersurface of the pan, the heating cooker including a safety device configured such that a silicone packing is provided in a section of the close coupling between the pan and the main body, and so that if internal pressure of the cooker rises abnormally, the silicone packing is decoupled from the main body so as to reduce the pressure.
CRISPNESS AND BROWNING IN FULL FLAT MICROWAVE OVEN
A microwave heating apparatus is disclosed. The heating apparatus comprises a cavity comprising a ceiling and a bottom support plate. The cavity is arranged to receive a food load. The apparatus further comprises at least one microwave supply system configured to supply microwaves at the cavity bottom. The at least one microwave supply system comprises at least one microwave source and at least one antenna arranged below the bottom support plate. The apparatus further comprises a heat element and a crisp plate. The heat element is connected proximate the ceiling and extends substantially over a ceiling area formed by the ceiling. The crisp plate is disposed in the cavity and vertically spaced from the bottom support plate by a rack.
Cooking apparatus and control method thereof
A cooking apparatus has a cooking chamber, a microwave unit to radiate microwaves to the cooking chamber, a convection unit to supply hot air to the cooking chamber, a grill unit to supply radiant heat to the cooking chamber, an input unit to receive a cooking command and a control unit to perform a cooking corresponding to the received cooking command by performing one of a first heating stage and a second heating stage, and after performing the one of the first heating stage and the second heating stage, performing the other one of the first heating stage and the second heating stage. In the first heating stage, the control unit operates the microwave unit and at least one of the convection unit and the grill unit, and in the second heating stage, the control unit operates the grill unit and the convection unit while not operating the microwave unit.
COOKING APPARATUS
Disclosed is a cooking apparatus for providing a cooking vessel suitable for a simmer cooking function. A cooking apparatus of the present invention includes a cooking room; a cooking vessel accommodated in the cooking room, and including a main body, and a heating element attached on a bottom of the main body and configured to be heated by microwaves to heat the main body; a microwave heater configured to radiate microwaves to the cooking vessel; an input device configured to receive a simmer cooking command; and a controller configured to repeatedly perform a process of turning on the microwave heater for a first time period, when the simmer cooking command is received through the input device, and turning off the microwave heater for a second time period when the first time period elapses, for a cooking time period, and configured to perform a keeping-warm process when a door does not open in a third time period after the cooking time period elapses.
COOKING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR AND DOUBLE PLATE
A cooking apparatus is disclosed. The cooking apparatus according to one exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: an inner wall for forming a cooking chamber; an outer wall for encompassing the inner wall; a microwave generating part for emitting a microwave at a passage, which is a space surrounded by the inner wall and the outer wall; and an absorbing layer absorbing the microwave to be propagated along the passage, so as to emit an infrared ray at the cooking chamber.
Microwaveable vessel
Some embodiments provide a microwaveable vessel that can quickly and evenly heat or cook different types of food. In some embodiments, the vessel includes a metallic body adapted to hold food or drinks. The outer portion of the body is coated with a layer of heat-generating glaze. In some embodiments, the vessel also includes a heat-resistant outer cover that covers the heat-generation layer. The vessel of some embodiments has a multi-layered structure with inner and outer shells that are joined together to form a cavity between the shells.
