Fluted heater wire
A heater wire for removing condensation from a respiratory gas conduit is provided. The heater wire includes at least one groove disposed thereon. The heater wire is positioned in a respiratory gas conduit. The groove may wick up water from a condensation region within the respiratory gas conduit and transport the wicked up water from the condensation region to a re-evaporation region. The wicked up water may be evaporated by a hot surface of the wire.

An apparatus and method for cooking at least one egg with an eggshell The apparatus comprises a housing provided with a device for providing microwave radiation in a confined space in the housing and a holder located in the confined space. The holder is provided with at least one cavity adapted to the shape of the egg with the eggshell. The apparatus further comprises means to insert a liquid into the holder for filling the cavity with the liquid to at least partly surround the eggshell of the egg located in the cavity. The apparatus comprises also means to control the amount of liquid in the holder during a cooking process of the at least one egg, wherein: a first amount of liquid is inserted into the cavity before providing microwave radiation in the cavity, which first amount of liquid surrounds the eggshell of the egg located in the cavity; a second amount of liquid is gradually inserted into the cavity.
Steam generator and heating cooker including steam generator
A steam generator includes a water storage chamber that stores water and at least one heating portion that heats the water in the water storage chamber to generate steam. A water supply device supplies water into the water storage chamber. A plurality of fins are provided in the water storage chamber. The water storage chamber has a steam spout port from which the steam generated by the heating portion spouts. The plurality of fins extend along a steam-generating direction under the steam spout port, and are separated from each other and cross the heating portion. The heating portion may be above and below a water surface that emerges in the water storage chamber during heating.
HEATING ASSEMBLY
A heating assembly for a vehicle, the heating assembly comprising: a fluid conduit for carrying fluid; a heater positioned along the fluid conduit, the heater comprising a heating element configured to heat any fluid within the fluid conduit and a power source configured to supply power to the heating element; and a heat sink positioned upstream of the heating element and thermally coupling the power source to the fluid conduit, such that the fluid receives heat from the power source in use.

An apparatus and method for cooking at least one egg with an eggshell. The apparatus comprises a housing provided with a device for providing microwave radiation in a confined space in the housing and a holder located in the confined space. The holder is provided with at least one cavity adapted to the shape of the egg with the eggshell. The holder comprises at least a first holder part and a second holder part being movable with respect to each other between a first position in which an egg with an eggshell can be positioned in the cavity to a second position wherein the holder parts enclose the cavity. The apparatus further comprises means to insert a liquid into the holder for filling the cavity with the liquid to at least partly surround the eggshell of the egg located in the cavity. The housing comprises at least a first housing part provided with the first holder part and a second housing part provided with the second holder part. The first housing part is located at least partly below the second housing part. The first housing part with the first holder part is movable between the first and second position with respect to the second housing part with the second holder part.

An apparatus for cooking at least one egg with an eggshell, comprises a housing provided with a device for providing microwave radiation in a confined space in the housing and a holder located in the confined space. The holder is provided with at least one cavity adapted to the shape of the egg with the eggshell. The holder comprises at least a first holder part and a second holder part being movable with respect to each other between a first position in which an egg with an eggshell can be positioned in the cavity to a second position wherein the holder parts enclose the cavity. The apparatus further comprises means to insert a liquid into the holder for filling the cavity with the liquid to at least partly surround the eggshell of the egg located in the cavity. The apparatus comprises a container for holding the liquid and a dosing unit to add at least one component to the liquid.
ECO-FRIENDLY BOILER
The claimed invention provides an eco-friendly alternative to traditional gas boilers, specifically the claimed invention provides a boiler that uses microwaves as a means to heat water within a boiler system. Preferably the water enters the boiler via one or more spray nozzles to produce a plurality of droplets or mist, which is then heated when they are exposed to the generated microwaves within the boiler.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SINGLE PIPE INSTANT WARM WATER SUPPLY IN BUILDINGS
A method and an apparatus are provided for on-demand and instant warm water supply at the point of consumption. In this method, only cold water is distributed and supplied to different places within a building through a single piping system. The apparatus has only a single input pipe for cold water and heats water in a heating unit just as needed on demand at the point of consumption after harvesting the heat energy of wastewater from drainage. The heating unit alternatives are a magnetron for generating microwaves or a thermoelectric body that heats the input water instantly and as needed and no more through a closed-loop controller. No hot and cold-water mixer is used. The method and apparatus help the building industry save on plumbing costs and consumed energy and water while bringing more comfort to users through direct and local heating of water on demand and as adjusted instantly.

An aerosol generating device includes a oscillator configured to generate a microwave, a resonator including an accommodation space accommodating an aerosol generating article, the resonator configured to heat the aerosol generating article by resonating the microwave, a power monitoring unit configured to measure a reflected microwave reflected from the resonator and input to the oscillator, and a processor configured to determine a type of the aerosol generating article based on the reflected microwave measured by the power monitoring unit.
