LIGHTING CONTROL
A method of controlling a luminaire at a first physical location in a physical space to render a lighting effect in the physical space, the method being performed by a control device and comprising steps of: receiving at least one data object for use in rendering the lighting effect, the data object defining at least one virtual object comprising an influence value for the virtual object and a coordinate vector denoting a virtual location of the virtual object in a virtual space; determining the first physical location of the luminaire in the physical space from a map of the physical space; determining a separation between the first physical location of the luminaire and a second physical location in the physical space corresponding to the virtual location of the virtual object in the virtual space; and controlling at least one characteristic of light emitted by the luminaire as a function of the determined separation and the influence value for the virtual object, thereby rendering the lighting effect.
WIRELESS LIGHTING CONTROL NETWORK
Systems and methods for processing incoming packets by wireless lighting control network nodes. An example method comprises: receiving a packet; validating the packet by performing at least one of: comparing an actual size of the packet to an expected packet size corresponding to a type of the packet or comparing a hop count specified by the packet to a pre-configured maximum hop count; responsive to determining that a destination address specified by the packet matches one of: a global broadcast address or a stored multicast group identifier: decrementing the hop count; responsive to determining that the hop count exceeds zero, re-transmitting the packet; and performing a lighting network management operation specified by the packet.
Lighting apparatus including function configuration switch module and control method therefor, and computer-readable recording medium having program recorded thereon for executing same
The present invention provides a lighting apparatus including a function configuration switch module and a control method therefor. The lighting apparatus may include: a lighting module; a lighting driving module for driving the lighting module; a communication module for performing data communication; a storage module for storing a program for controlling the lighting module, data generated by the program, and unique identification information of a lighting apparatus; a function configuration switch module for outputting a switching function selection signal to perform a bridge setting or releasing function; and a control module controlling the lighting driving module, and the communication module to transmit a signal for configuration or release of a bridge together with the unique identification information of the lighting apparatus. Therefore, a bridge access delay time can be minimized and an access success rate can be maximized, and thus, wireless mesh network-based lighting apparatuses can be efficiently controlled.
Monitoring system, electronic equipment, and monitoring system control method
An object is to reduce influence of erroneous operation in a monitoring system provided with a sensor. Lighting equipment is to be turned on by means of main power. A remote control device turns off the lighting equipment. A battery supplies reserve power. A sensor performs predetermined measurement by means of the main power. A detector detects whether or not supply of the main power has been stopped by operation of a predetermined switch, and generates a detection result. A communicator transmits the detection result by means of the reserve power in a case where the supply of the main power has been stopped.
ADAPTIVE LIGHTING AUTOMATION
According to one aspect disclosed herein, there is provided a lighting control system for controlling one or more luminaires of a lighting system to illuminate an environment, the lighting control system comprising: an interface for sending control commands to the luminaires; an automation component configured to: automatically control, via the interface, the luminaires according to a set of one or more automation rules stored in a memory accessible by the lighting control system; and a suppression component configured to: process data pertaining to a user in the environment from at least one data source to monitor activity exhibited by the user in the environment; detect a condition of increased user stress based on the activity monitoring; identify at least one of the automation rules as a potential cause of the increased user stress; and suppress or modify the identified automation rule for at least one of the luminaires based thereon.
Illumination system, illumination setting method, and recording medium
An illumination system includes a plurality of lighting fixtures, a plurality of slave devices, and an information communication terminal. Each of the plurality of slave devices includes: first wireless communication circuitry configured to receive, from each of the plurality of lighting fixtures, a signal including a MAC address of the lighting fixture, and to measure a received signal strength indication (RSSI) of the signal received; and a first controller that causes the first wireless communication circuitry to transmit the MAC address and RSSI information indicating the RSSI measured. The information communication terminal includes a second controller that makes associations between positions and MAC addresses of the plurality of lighting fixtures based on the RSSI information and position information stored in a storage.
Luminaire with Programmable Light Distribution
A method of setting luminance levels of a solid-state light sources of a luminaire with programmable light distribution is provided. The method includes obtaining a file describing a desired light beam distribution, converting the desired light beam distribution into luminance levels for the solid-state light sources, and applying the luminance levels to the solid-state light sources to cause the luminaire to output the desired light beam distribution.
APPARATUS CONTAINING COLOR CODED GROUP AND MEMBER ICONS AND METHOD OF GROUPING AND DEGROUPING MEMBERS ICONS IN LIGHTING APPLICATIONS
A method of controlling lighting that includes color coding at least one group icon for a scene for lighting on a light control interface. The at least one group icon can be color coded with a first type color coded identifier corresponding to the scene. The method can continue with grouping at least one member icon designating a light function form for at least one lamp to the at least one group icon on the light control interface. The at least one member icon may include a second type color identifier, in which a member icon being grouped to a group icon has a same color for the second type color identifier for the member icon as the first type color identifier for the group icon.
