Electronic apparatus
An electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a printed circuit board (PCB) with a first signal path and a second signal path therein, a first finger disposed on the first signal path, a second finger disposed on the second signal path, a controller disposed on the PCB and coupled to a first memory via the first finger and to a second memory via the second finger, and a damping device disposed on the second signal path. The first and second signal paths share a common segment between the controller and a branch point on the PCB. The damping device is disposed between the second finger and the branch point. The distance between the first finger and the branch point within the first signal path is smaller than the distance between the second finger and the branch point within the second signal path.
Electrical interface for package and die
A circuit board and package assembly electrically connecting a die to a circuit board. The circuit board has signal paths terminating in a signal pad located on an insulating layer. The circuit board also includes a ground pad on the insulating layer that has a concave shaped side forming a recess, the with a signal pad at least partially within the recess. A package has package ground pads aligned with the circuit board ground pads and package signal pads aligned with circuit board signal pads. The package ground pads extend through the package to connect to package ground paths, which extend toward the die. The package signal pads extend through the package to connect to package signal paths and the package signal paths extend toward the die, maintaining a consistent distance from the package ground paths. Multiple-tier bond wires connect the package bond locations to the die bond pads.
Device and method for transmitting differential data signals
A device, in particular a pre-assembled transmission cable, is used to transmit differential data signals in a high-speed data connection. The device contains a circuit board with a conductor pair with two signal conductors for transmitting the differential data signal. An output line which is insulated from the conductor pair is paired with the conductor pair, the output line running parallel to the signal conductors in a non-interrupted manner and additionally being connected to a measuring conductor via at least one damping element. By virtue of the configuration, an undesired common-mode signal component is at least partly coupled into the output line, where the signal component is absorbed during operation.
Module board and memory module including the same
A module board and a memory module are provided. The module board includes a first branch line for connecting a clock signal terminal disposed on at least one surface to a first branch point; a first signal line for connecting the first branch point to a first module clock signal terminal; a second signal line for connecting the first module clock signal terminal to the k.sup.th module clock signal terminal and a first termination resistance terminal; a third signal line for connecting the first branch point to a (k+1).sup.th module clock signal terminal; and a fourth signal line for connecting the (k+1).sup.th module clock signal terminal to a 2k.sup.th module clock signal terminal and the second termination resistance terminal, wherein a length of the third signal line is greater than a sum of a length of the first signal line and a length of the second signal line.
Composition and method for pre-surgical skin disinfection
This invention provides a pre-surgical disinfecting composition that includes at least about 50 percent by weight of a C.sub.1-6 alcohol, based upon the total weight of the disinfecting composition, an acid, and a cationic oligomer or polymer. A method for pre-surgical skin disinfection with rapid antiseptic efficacy without the use of secondary antimicrobial compounds is also described.
Rigid flexible printed circuit board and electronic device including the same
A rigid flexible printed circuit board (RFPCB) may include: a first base conductive layer; a first rigid conductive layer spaced apart from the first base conductive layer in a first direction; a second rigid conductive layer spaced apart from the first base conductive layer in the first direction and spaced apart from the first rigid conductive layer in a second direction intersecting the first direction; a base cover layer spaced apart from the first base conductive layer in the first direction and positioned closer to the first base conductive layer than to the first rigid conductive layer and the second rigid conductive layer; a transmission line positioned between the first base conductive layer and the base cover layer; and a dummy metal layer disposed on the base cover layer, positioned between the first rigid conductive layer and the second rigid conductive layer, and overlapping the transmission line in the first direction.
Double stub transmission line for suppression of harmonics
One aspect provides a printed circuit board (PCB). The PCB includes a transmission line to transmit signals of a desired frequency, a first stub coupled to the transmission line at a first location, and a second stub coupled to the transmission line at a second location. The first stub is to filter out signals of a first frequency, the second stub is to filter out signals of a second frequency, and the first and second stubs are positioned such that an insertion loss of the transmitted signals of the desired frequency is substantially minimized.
Waveguide launch system for coupling to a waveguide channel through a probe member on a first lamina and an integrated back-short on a second lamina
A waveguide launch system configured for translating radio frequency signal waves is provided. The system comprises a first printed circuit board lamina comprising an electrically conductive ground member and configured for attachment of a separate waveguide element, having a first cross-section area, thereto. A second printed circuit board lamina comprising an electrically conductive backshort cover configured to reflect the RF signal waves is bonded to a first printed circuit board lamina. An electrically conductive barrier arrangement extends through the second printed circuit board lamina. The electrically conductive barrier arrangement and the electrically conductive backshort cover form an integrated electrically conductive backshort volume of an integrated backshort having a second cross-section area. The second cross-section area is smaller than the first cross-section area.
Circuit board, electronic component housing package, and electronic device
This circuit board includes a plate body made of a dielectric body and having a front surface and a back surface, a differential signal line formed on the front surface, the differential signal line being made of a pair of signal lines, and a ground conductor formed on the back surface. The signal lines include: terminals formed at a distance from the ground conductor, in an end portion at a prescribed distance from one end of the back surface; connection pads connected to the terminals and provided on the end portion of the front surface so as to be opposed to the terminals; transmission line units extending from the connections pads; and a widened portion provided in a position on the transmission line units corresponding to a space between the terminal and the ground conductor, the widened portion having a line width greater than that of the transmission line units.
Plug connector and component
A plug connector which comprises contact elements that are subdivided into at least one signal contact element and at least one shielding contact element, and a component having an electrical circuit ground. The plug connector and the component are characterized by an ohmic resistance which connects the shielding contact element to the electrical circuit ground. The measure suppresses parasitic oscillations.
