A MANUFACTURING PROCESS TO ENHANCE SURFACE MOUNT SOLDER PAD JOINT FORMATION VIA A LASER SUBTRACTIVE METHOD
The present invention relates to the field of electronic assembly for the manufacture of electronic products such as mobile phones, where electronic components such as resistors and capacitors and microprocessors are joined to a bare circuit board to form a complete electronics device and relates to the preparation of attachment locations on a bare circuit board
Resin, photosensitive resin composition, electronic component and display device using the same
A resin having a small linear thermal expansion coefficient and a low absorbance is provided. The resin is characterized by including at least one structure selected from structures represented by the following general formulae (1) and (2): ##STR00001##
REDUCTION OF PACKAGING SUBSTRATE DEFORMATION
A packaging substrate can include a first surface and a second opposing surface, the first surface including a first mounting region of a first electronic module region and the second opposing surface including a first electrical contacts region of the first electronic module region. The packaging substrate can include a saw street region with at least a portion that surrounds the first electronic module region, and a saw street feature formed on the second opposing surface within at least a portion of the saw street region, the saw street feature being a solder mask layer over a metal layer.
Method for producing a labeled printed circuit board
A method for producing a labeled printed circuit board, as well as a labeled electric printed circuit board. In order to provide a method for producing a labeled printed circuit board that is particularly fast and energy-conserving and does not require any systems with high procurement and operating costs, initially a substrate with conductor tracks is supplied, which is then coated with a functional lacquer layer on at least one surface. A labeling of the substrate in different color shades of the functional lacquer layer is also carried out.
PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD WITH MOLD ADHESION BOUNDARY FOR DIE ATTACH PAD
A printed circuit board for use in an electronics package has a die attach pad and one or more adhesion strips outside the die attach pad. The adhesion strip(s) facilitate adhesion of a mold compound over the die attach pad and die and inhibits (e.g., prevents) delamination of the mold compound from the die attach pad.
Multi-layered diamond-like carbon coating for electronic components
A multi-layer coating on an outer surface of a substrate includes a first layer applied directly to the outer surface of the substrate. The first layer includes diamond-like carbon (DLC) configured to mitigate metal whisker formation. A second layer is applied on a top surface of the first layer. The second layer is a conformal coating that includes a second material configured to bind to the top surface of the first layer and fill any microfractures that may form in the first layer. Optionally, a third layer is applied on a top surface of the second layer and includes DLC configured to protect the second layer from oxidation and degradation.
Surface mounting techniques for fiber optics printed circuit board assemblies using metal coatings and tabs
The present disclosure generally relates to printed circuit boards or printed circuit board assemblies for fiber optic communications. In one non-limiting embodiment, a method of assembling an optoelectronic assembly includes providing a printed circuit board with a first metal coating and an optical component with a second metal coating. The method further includes positioning the optical component relative to the printed circuit board with at least some portion of the first metal coating aligned with or adjacent to at least some portion of the second metal coating, and applying solder between the first metal coating and the second metal coating to couple the optical component and the printed circuit board.
Printing wiring board and electronic device
First and second conductors extend on and along a first surface of a substrate. The first conductor includes first and second parts extending in first and second directions and a third part connected to the first and second parts. The second conductor includes fourth and fifth parts extending in the first and second directions and a sixth part connected to the fourth and fifth parts. A first insulator partly covers the first surface, covers the first to fifth parts, and is partly opened in a first region extending along the sixth part above the sixth part in a third direction.
CIRCUIT BOARD
A circuit board according to an embodiment includes: an insulating layer including a first region and a second region; a plurality of outer layer circuit patterns disposed on upper surfaces of the first region and the second region of the insulating layer; and a solder resist including a first part disposed on the first region of the insulating layer and a second part disposed on the second region of the insulating layer; wherein the first part includes an upper surface having a curved surface and exposes an upper surface of an outer layer circuit pattern disposed on the first region of the insulating layer, wherein the second part covers an upper surface of an outer layer circuit pattern disposed on the second region of the insulating layer, and wherein at least a part of the upper surface of the first part is positioned lower than the upper surface of the outer layer circuit pattern.
Printed circuit board and electronic device
A printed circuit board includes an electronic component including a first land, a printed wiring board including a resist portion and a second land, and a connecting portion interconnecting the first land and the second land. An opening larger than the first land in plan view from the electronic component side is defined in the resist portion. In plan view from the electronic component side, the first land is disposed inside the opening, the second land including a body portion disposed inside the opening and a protruding portion protruding from the body portion, the body portion being disposed further on an inside than an outer edge of the first land, and at least part of the protruding portion protruding further to an outside than the first land.
