VARIABLE HOLDER MODULE FOR SECURING EXPANSION CARDS
20240012455 · 2024-01-11 ·

A variable holder module secures a variety of different expansion cards that may be installed within a computer or other information handling system. The holder module has a multi-sided component that is orientable according to which expansion card is to be secured within the computer. Each side of the component may thus correspond to a different one of the expansion cards. Once the expansion card is determined, a human or robotic picker need only orient component to the side that corresponds to the make/model of the expansion card. The holder module is thus adaptable to secure many different expansion cards that may be installed within the computer.

MULTI-SOCKET SERVER ASSEMBLY

In some examples, a printed circuit board assembly can include a printed circuit board having four (4) central processor unit (CPU) sockets disposed thereon and sixty four (64) dual in-line memory modules (DIMMs) disposed thereon. The printed circuit board can have a top surface and a bottom surface with two (2) CPU sockets and thirty two (32) DIMMs disposed on the top surface and two (2) CPU sockets and thirty two (32) DIMMs disposed on the bottom surface.

Plug-in device and terminal

A plug-in device may include a circuit board, a first connecting piece stacked on the circuit board and a card tray stacked on the first connecting piece. The card tray may include a first mounting face facing the first connecting piece and a second mounting face away from the first connecting piece. The first mounting face may be configured to place a first chip card electrically connected to the circuit board through the first connecting piece. The second mounting face may be configured to place a second chip card electrically connected to the circuit board. A projection of the first mounting face along a direction perpendicular to the first mounting face may overlap that of the second mounting face. A terminal may include the above mentioned plug-in device.

APPARATUS CASE WITH A ROTATABLE AIRFLOW-BLOCKING PORTION AND SERVER THEREWITH
20200060042 · 2020-02-20 ·

An apparatus case includes a first casing member, a second casing member, a driving portion, a blocking portion, and a rotary shaft. The first casing member and the second casing member are detachably engaged with each other. The driving portion is disposed on the first casing member. The blocking portion and the rotary shaft are rotatably disposed on the second casing member and connected with each other. A server includes the apparatus case and a circuit board disposed on the first casing member of the apparatus case. When the second casing member moves from a first position to a second position relative to the first casing member, the driving portion drives the rotary shaft to rotate so that the rotary shaft drives the blocking portion to rotate above an expansion slot of the circuit board.
