Vehicle circuit card assembly
A circuit card assembly for a vehicle chassis is provided. The circuit card assembly may include a circuit card unit, a wedge-lock retainer unit, and a support bracket. The circuit card unit has a printed circuit board (PCB) defining a first fastener aperture. The wedge-lock retainer unit may define a second fastener aperture. The support bracket includes first and second elements. The first element may define a third fastener aperture and the second element may define a fourth fastener aperture. The PCB, the wedge-lock retainer unit, and the support bracket may be arranged with one another such that the first fastener aperture, the second fastener aperture, and the third fastener aperture are aligned with one another and such that the fourth aperture is oriented in alignment with a chassis aperture of a chassis.
COMPUTER AND SUPPORT MEMBER
A computer includes a chassis, a circuit board installed in the chassis, and a support member. The support member includes a support portion, a first clamping portion, and a second clamping portion. The first clamping portion and the second clamping portion are respectively located at two ends of the support portion. The first clamping portion is configured to clamp the circuit board. The second clamping portion is configured to clamp the chassis.
WEDGE LOCK SUPPORT COLUMNS IN ELECTRONIC CHASSIS
An electronic chassis includes a first side, and a second side opposite the first side. The electronic chassis also includes a first set of wedge lock support columns machined on the first side, and a second set of wedge lock support columns machined on the second side. Each wedge lock support column of the first set of wedge lock support columns and the second set of wedge lock support columns is machined as a continuous shape.
Conductive thermal management architecture for electronic modules in a two-card assembly
A two-card assembly includes a first printed wiring board (PWB) on a first side of the two-card assembly, and a first stiffener secured to the first PWB. The two-card assembly also includes a second PWB on a second side of the two-card assembly, and a second stiffener secured to the second PWB. A center stiffener is disposed between the first stiffener and the second stiffener, and one or more electronic modules are secured to the center stiffener. The center stiffener dissipates heat from the one or more electronic modules.
Power module housing
A housing that can be used for a power module in a power system is disclosed. The housing includes features to improve the insulating properties and to reduce or eliminate a mechanical stress on a housing that could crack or break a substrate contained within the housing. The insulating properties are improved by protrusions that surround apertures for press-fit pins. Each protrusion can increase a creepage for the housing by extending the surface of the housing along a press-fit pin. The mechanical stress is reduced by a mounting flange that includes a wedge surface and a flexible structure that react to a force applied when the mounting flange is fastened to a surface by a fastener.
CONDUCTIVE THERMAL MANAGEMENT ARCHITECTURE EMPLOYING A STIFFENER OF A PRINTED WIRING BOARD ASSEMBLY
An electronic assembly includes a printed wiring board (PWB), and a stiffener secured to the PWB. The stiffener includes one or more tray sections. One or more electronic modules is secured respectively to the one or more tray sections of the stiffener.
REMOVABLE ELECTRONICS ENCLOSURE COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE MOVEABLE HEAT SPREADER
An electronics enclosure can be a line replaceable unit for installation in a chassis having actively cooled cold plates. The electronics enclosure has a housing, heat spreaders, and moveable heat spreaders. The electronics enclosure can be positioned in the chassis with the moveable heat spreaders close to the housing and thereafter the moveable heat spreaders can be moved away from the housing to press against the cold plates. Heat from electronics within the electronics enclosure can pass from the housing, through the heat spreaders, through the moveable heat spreaders, and into the cold plates.
Double line replaceable module locking bracket
A locking bracket system for a pair of line replaceable modules (LRMs) includes a locking bracket assembly including an expanding member configured to be actuated to expand; and an extension bracket attached to the expanding member. The extension bracket extends from the expanding member in a direction opposite that the expanding member expands. Each of the expanding member and the extension bracket are configured to compress against a LRM to retain the pair of LRMs to a chassis when the expanding member is in an expanded position.
