Latch assembly for a modular device
A latch assembly includes a latch body, a fastener longitudinally inserted through the latch body, a traveling body, a latch pawl, and a spring device. The fastener includes a head and a shank. The shank includes a thread portion and a second portion, with the second portion disposed between the thread portion and the head. The traveling body is threaded onto the thread portion of the shank such that the traveling body longitudinally traverses the thread portion as the fastener is rotated. The latch pawl is pivotally coupled to the traveling body and pivots while engaging and disengaging the latch body. The spring device is disposed on the shank between the head and the latch body. The spring device surrounds the second portion of the shank.
FASTENING DEVICE AND METHOD OF OPERATING SAME, AND DISPLAY PANEL
A fastening device, a method of operating the fastening device, and a display panel are provided. The fastening device includes a diffuser and a limiter, wherein the limiter includes a deformation portion and a non-deformation portion disposed opposite to each other to enclose a receiving portion, and the diffuser is configured to be received in the receiving portion, so as to adjust a deformation size of the deformation portion by movement of the diffuser.
Printed circuit board electrical connector locking via threaded fasteners
A circuit board includes a first locking mechanism configured to secure the circuit board to a chassis. The circuit board also includes a connector disposed at an inboard end of the circuit board. The connector is configured to be electrically connected to a mating connector on either a backplane or a circuit board. The circuit board also includes a second locking mechanism. The second locking mechanism is configured to secure the connector of the circuit board to the mating connector of the backplane or the circuit card.
Component-mounting device and electronic apparatus
A component-mounting device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a component-mounting board, a connector component, a heat sink, and a first screw portion. The component-mounting board includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The connector component includes a plurality of terminal-fixing portions that fixes a terminal extending in one axis direction orthogonal to the first surface and a base portion that connects between the plurality of terminal-fixing portions and includes an opening portion, the connector component being provided on the first surface. The heat sink faces the second surface and includes a first screw seat that faces the base portion in the one axis direction with the component-mounting board interposed between the first screw seat and the base portion. The first screw portion is disposed inside the opening portion and is engaged with the first screw seat through the component-mounting board.
Double line replaceable module locking bracket
A locking bracket system for a pair of line replaceable modules (LRMs) includes a locking bracket assembly including an expanding member configured to be actuated to expand; and an extension bracket attached to the expanding member. The extension bracket extends from the expanding member in a direction opposite that the expanding member expands. Each of the expanding member and the extension bracket are configured to compress against a LRM to retain the pair of LRMs to a chassis when the expanding member is in an expanded position.
Server chassis and server including the same
A server chassis includes a housing, a support frame, and a back plate. The housing includes a substrate. A fixing portion is vertically disposed on the substrate and is fixedly connected with the back plate. The support frame is fixedly connected with the substrate. A first protrusion is disposed on the support frame and is inserted into the back plate. The interior of the server chassis is rendered more compact, and the server chassis can accommodate eight hard disks. A server including the server chassis is also disclosed.
Fixing apparatus for fixing one or more printed circuit boards to a housing wall
The present invention relates to a fixing apparatus for fixing one or more printed circuit boards to a housing wall having a frame part that comprises at least one locking means for fixing the frame part to the housing wall and at least one wedge body displaceably supported within the frame part, wherein the wedge body is displaceable into a position relative to the frame part in which a compressive force applied to the frame part by the wedge body deforms the outer frame wall at least regionally outwardly.
Peripheral storage card with offset slot alignment
A storage card insertable into a host system is provided that includes a plurality of storage devices connectors. The storage card include slot offset features to offset a circuit board of the storage card from a host system slot alignment. This offset provides for storage device connector placement on both sides of the storage card. The storage card also can include a Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) switch circuit configured to communicatively couple the PCIe signaling of the plurality of storage device connectors and PCIe signaling of a host connector of the storage card, where the PCIe switch circuit is configured to receive storage operations over the PCIe signaling of the host connector of the storage card and transfer the storage operations for delivery over the PCIe signaling of selected ones of the plurality of storage device connectors.
