ELECTRONIC CHASSIS WITH HEAT EXCHANGER
Aspects of the disclosure generally relate to at least one device for heat transfer or dissipation. The at least one device for heat transfer or dissipation can include an air-to-air heat exchanger. The air-to-air heat exchanger can include an air flow inlet and various slots to establish a flow-through air path.
Underseat replaceable in-flight entertainment cabling assembly
An aircraft seating assembly including a replaceable underseat passenger accommodation feature tray includes passenger seats incorporating in-flight entertainment (IFE) system components for the use of the occupying passengers or neighboring passengers in the seats immediately behind. The IFE system components are connected by internal cabling paths within the seating assembly to contact points, and seat electronic boxes (SEB) mounted to a replaceable passenger accommodation feature tray provide IFE services to the system components. The SEB is connected to a second set of contact points on the feature tray by cabling paths that circumvent the spreader and leg structures of the seating assembly. When the feature tray is fully mounted to the seating assembly, the SEB is connected to the IFE system components through the cabling paths and contact points at which the cabling paths terminate, each contact point on the feature tray having a counterpart in the seating assembly.
ELECTRONICS TESTER
A tester apparatus is described. Various components contribute to the functionality of the tester apparatus, including an insertion and removal apparatus, thermal posts, independent gimbaling, the inclusion of a photo detector, a combination of thermal control methods, a detect circuitry in a socket lid, through posts with stand-offs, and a voltage retargeting.
Embedded environmental control and life support system using compact form factor
A peripheral component interconnect (PCI) device is provided for use in an environmental control and life support system (ECLSS). The PCI device includes a control card, mounting slots each of which is receptive of the control card and coupled with a piece of ECLSS equipment and a backplane configured to respectively provide, via communication and power signals, communications and power to the control card in any one of the mounting slots. With the control card received in one of the mounting slots, the control card accommodates multiple power levels, executes commutation logic and executes one or more of active current control and active current modulation in accordance with the one of the mounting slots and the piece of the ECLSS equipment coupled therewith.
Method and apparatus for electronics rack assembly and transportation
The present application relates to providing mechanical and environmental protection to an electronics rack including a frame configured in a vertical orientation configured to receive an electronics rack, a front cover and a back cover, wherein the front cover and the back cover are configured to enclose the electronics rack when the front cover is attached to the frame and when the back cover is attached to the frame, a first fastener for mechanically coupling a top portion of the electronics rack to a top portion of the frame, a second fastener for coupling a bottom portion of the electronics rack to a bottom portion of the frame and a horizontal base for supporting the frame, the base including a mechanical interface for a material handling device, at least one castor and at least one floor lock.
MODULAR PAYLOAD DEVICE FOR AN UNMANNED AIRCRAFT
The invention proposes a modular payload device for an unmanned aircraft provided with a body made up of a plurality of guides, rods, frames provided with guiding recesses, coupling elements, and longitudinal members linked to a printed circuit board (PCB) formed by connectors and power regulators for connecting flight and payload instruments, wherein the frames are fixed to the body by means of introducing the rods through perforations made on the frames, whereas the coupling elements and the anchoring means are linked with the complementary anchoring means by tongue and groove clipping. Advantageously, the electric circuit of the PCB allows the integration and synchronization of sensors for remote sensing.
RECONFIGURABLE AVIONICS MOUNTING
An avionics mounting unit includes a housing with a first mounting interface to couple the housing to a structure of an aircraft and a second mounting interface to couple an avionics device to the housing. The second mounting interface includes slots oriented orthogonal to each other and extending to sides of the housing such that the avionics device can be installed via the slots from any of four sides of the housing. The avionics mounting unit also includes communication circuitry, power supply circuitry, one or more avionics device interface ports, and one or more aircraft interface ports. The avionics device interface port(s) are configured to provide power to the avionics device and configured to enable data communications with the avionics device. The aircraft interface port(s) are configured to receive power from the aircraft and to enable data communications between other aircraft systems and the avionics device.
Locking device for rackable electronic equipment
A locking device for a rackable piece of electronic equipment is disclosed. The locking device has a first beam and a second beam hinged to the first beam. The first beam and the second beam removably engage at least one lock of the rackable piece of electronic equipment and are capable of locking the rackable piece of electronic equipment to a backplane of a rack.
Mounting and fastening mechanism
A mounting mechanism for securing a panel to an equipment rail includes a bezel assembly and a mounting plate assembly, where the bezel assembly includes a bezel frame, a bezel internal metal plate and a pair of latch handles connected to the bezel frame by latch handle fasteners at a set of pivot points and where the mounting plate assembly includes a mounting plate, a set of spring sheets that are secured to the mounting plate by a plurality of screws and a plurality of custom quarter-turn fasteners adapted to secure the mounting plate assembly to a pair of equipment rails.
