A portable computing system includes a transit case for providing structure for the mobile computing system, and has a power supply for providing power to the portable computing system. The portable computing system further includes a slidably removable sled disposed inside the transit case, configured to hold a plurality of computing components and to enable access to the plurality of computing components. The slidable removable sled includes a top chamber configured to hold a first type of computing device; a bottom chamber configured to hold a second type of computing device; and a floor disposed between the top chamber and a bottom chamber. The portable computing system further includes a switch, disposed in the bottom chamber, to provide computer networking and communications functions. The portable computing system further includes a plurality of computing blades, disposed in the top chamber, to provide computing capabilities, wherein each of the plurality of computing blades comprises a central processing unit (CPU) comprising a software multiplexer for interfacing directly with a plurality of solid state drives (SSDs).
RACK MOUNT CASE STORAGE SYSTEM SEPARABLY COUPLED TO BODY
Provided is a rack mount case storage system separably coupled to a body, wherein, constituting the storage system, a SATA interface based-3.5 inch storage media and a PCIe interface based-3.5 inch storage media are both accommodated in a front case, thereby forming a high-capacity hybrid Bay structure; and a power supply module for supplying power to the storage system of the present invention, as well as a HOST Computer interface card, a storage extension module, a RAID card, and some storage media, which are components for performing various controls of the storage system, are mounted in a rear case.
EXTRACTABLE STRUCTURE FOR HOUSING ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS
The invention relates to a structure (1) for housing electronic apparatuses (10) such as boards (11) and the like, wherein the apparatuses are arranged in a container with a drawer (40) insertable and extractable with respect to a frame (20) of the structure (1). On the back wall of the drawer (40) and on the frame (20) connectors (53, 54) are provided which are coupled directly and automatically when the drawer is inserted.
Integrated card-guide adapter heat sink
An integrated adapter configured to hold two first circuit card assemblies in a larger second circuit card assembly space includes a thermally-conductive frame and two vertical thermally-conductive guide rails in the inboard region of the frame front. A channel is formed in each of the two guide rails, extending from the guide rail top to the guide rail bottom on the respective outboard side, thereby defining a front rail and a back rail, each configured to receive and support an edge of a first circuit card assembly, and the frame is configured to be attached to a second circuit card assembly, thereby forming an integrated adapter circuit card. Various circuit card sizes can be adapted for use, including supporting two 3U circuit cards in a 6U circuit card space. A method of making the integrated adapter is also disclosed.
Power supply chassis having guiding and fixing effect
A power supply chassis has at least one accommodating slot therein. Two side walls of the accommodating slot of the power supply chassis are provided with a first left guiding and fixing block and a first right guiding and fixing block. The guiding and fixing blocks have a first left guiding bevel and a first right guiding bevel facing a front side of the accommodating slot, a first left fixing plane and a first right fixing plane corresponding in position to the middle of the accommodating slot. When a power supply is placed into the accommodating slot, the first left guiding bevel and the first right guiding bevel guide the power supply to a middle position of the accommodating slot, and the power supply is clamped by the first left fixing plane and the first right fixing plane to enhance the stability of the power supply.
Adapter assemblies
An example adapter assembly may comprise an adapter cage to removably mount to a riser board of a computer system. Further, the example adapter assembly may comprise an adapter board disposed on the adapter cage, wherein the adapter cage is to receive multiple computer components, and the adapter board is to engage with the multiple computer components.
Circuit card rack system and method
A method of maintaining a circuit card in a card rack and a circuit card rack system are disclosed. A card rack including a laterally oriented clamping slot is provided. The clamping slot is at least partially formed from a temperature-contractible material. A circuit card having a clamped side region is provided. At least a portion of the clamped side region is inserted into the clamping slot. A predetermined temperature differential is applied to the clamping slot to reduce a longitudinal dimension of at least a portion of the clamping slot. A compressive force is exerted on the portion of the clamped side region which is located longitudinally within the clamping slot, via thermal expansion of the clamping slot.
