An electronic device includes a base plate, and a plurality of modules detachably attached to the base plate. The modules comprise a terminal block module. The terminal block module has an openable and closable door at a pullout end portion-side. The door has an attribute information display part configured to display attribute information of a device to be connected to the terminal block module.

A control panel includes: a cable formed by a plurality of signal lines connected to an input/output unit of the control apparatus; a terminal block to which a plurality of external wirings connecting to a control target device are electrically connected; and an I/F terminal block between the terminal block and the cable. The I/F terminal block includes: a plurality of first terminals provided on the terminal block side and each having a corresponding one of the plurality of external wirings electrically connected thereto; a plurality of second terminals provided on the control apparatus side and each electrically connected to a corresponding one of the plurality of signal lines; and a switching circuit to change a combination of one of the plurality of first terminals and one of the plurality of second terminals connected in a one-to-one relation.

A terminal block unit for an input/output device of a modular process control system includes two slot elements configured to receive two redundant signal conditioning units. The terminal block unit is configured to be housed in a pair of two adjacent slot elements of a module termination unit of an input/output device. The terminal block unit provides a parallel connection of the redundant signal conditioning units to a field device.

A terminal block for an electronic device, which block can be attached to an electronics housing of the electronic device, includes at least one base strip comprising a plurality of connector sockets; and a plurality of connector modules that can be attached to the connector sockets of the at least one base strip in at least one insertion direction, are held on the connector sockets in an inserted position, and can be released from the connector sockets to be removed from the at least one base strip; and a locking device. The locking device includes: an actuating part that can be moved relative to the at least one base strip in an actuation direction; and a plurality of locking elements that are engaged in a locking manner in mating elements of the connector modules in a locked position.
Terminal device
A terminal plate includes a main portion having a screw hole, and a first and second leg portion which protrude from the main portion in the same direction. The first leg portion is formed longer than the second leg portion. The device housing includes an outer wall which has a first attachment hole into which the first leg portion is inserted, a second attachment hole into which the second leg portion is inserted, and a depressed portion into which the terminal screw is inserted. The printed wiring board is electrically connected to the first leg portion, and a center of the screw hole of is misaligned with respect to a straight line extending through a center of the first attachment hole and a center of the second attachment hole when the terminal plate is attached to the device housing and seen in a direction perpendicular to the main portion.
Displaceable insulation barrier
The invention relates to an arrangement for increasing the insulation coordination between at least two electric potentials on a printed circuit board (2), said arrangement comprising the printed circuit board (2) and an insulation barrier (3), wherein the printed circuit board (2) has an opening (7) between the electric potentials, and the insulation barrier (3) is disposed on the printed circuit board (2) so as to be displaceble through the opening (7) and is designed such that the isolating distance between the two electric potentials can be enlarged by displacing the insulation barrier (3) relative to the printed circuit board (2). The arrangement makes it possible obtain a high packing density on the printed circuit board (2).
Modular controller for a building management system
A device for use in a building management system (BMS) is a controller device. The device includes a base comprising a first processor and a base interface, the first processor being configure to provide control operations for a device in the building system, and a first module installable on and removable from the base. The first module includes a first module interface for receiving power from and communicating with the base via the base interface. In some embodiments, the device includes an optional a second module installable on and removable from the base, the second module comprising a second module interface for receiving power from and communicating with the base via the base interface.

The terminal block may also include a second locking mechanism configured to couple to the I/O module and secure the terminal block to the I/O module.
