TRANSPORTABLE AND STACKABLE SERVER RACKS
A server rack including a bottom panel, a top panel opposite to said bottom panel, a plurality of housing units configured for receiving rack-mountable equipment, the plurality of housing units being horizontally side-by-side arranged between the top panel and the bottom panel, the bottom panel comprising two support rails for supporting the server rack.
Interoperable server power board support structure
In one embodiment, an apparatus for mounting a power module to a server chassis includes a first rail member attachable to a server chassis and a second rail member mountable to the first rail member. The second rail member includes several mounting points. The apparatus further includes a power distribution board (PDB) coupled to the second rail member at one of the mounting points. The PDB connects power from a power bus of an electronic rack to a server included in the server chassis populated on the rack. The PDB includes one or more power conversion devices to regulate power to the one or more electronic devices of the server and a set of power clips to attach the PDB to a power bus of an electronic rack. The coupling of the PDB and the rails enable connections to different electronic racks.
POWER DISTRIBUTION UNIT WITH CORD STORAGE CARTRIDGE
Systems, methods, and devices are provided in which cord storage cartridges are removably connected to a power distribution unit (PDU). The cord storage cartridge may include a cartridge housing having at least one aperture, a PDU interface associated with the cartridge housing and configured to removably connect the cord storage device to a mateable interface of the PDU, and a power output cord having a proximal end in electrical communication with the PDU interface and a distal end coupled with an output connector that is configured to connect to electronic equipment. The power output cord may be stowed at least partially within the cartridge housing in a retracted state and moveable through the at least one aperture to an extended state at least partially external to the cartridge housing.
MANAGING CABLES IN FIBER INSTALLATION
A server rack is cabled to obviate the need for top-of-rack switches. Switches and severs are connected through de-mateable connection interfaces at distribution modules disposed along the raceway above the server cabinets. The distribution modules may have externally accessible ports, internally accessible ports, and/or payout spools for the switch cables and/or the server cables.
Modular floating mechanism design for cable blind mating at server infrastructure
An apparatus is disclosed that comprises a first structure configured to be connected to a chassis, a second structure configured to be attached to the first structure, the second structure including at least one first connector and a damper disposed between the first structure and the second structure, the damper configured to allow the second structure to move in one dimension relative to the first structure when the first connector is moved in a direction to be coupled to a second connector that is not aligned with the first connector.
CABLE CONNECTION SYSTEM
A cable connection system and a method of forming the cable connection system. The cable connection system includes a base and a coupling mechanism. The base is configured to be coupled to a given cable. The given cable is configured to be connected to a given rack. The coupling mechanism is configured to couple the base with the given rack during a given connect mode of operation. The coupling mechanism includes a group of base connectors provided on a first surface of the base. The first surface is arranged to lie substantially flush with the given rack. The method includes: providing the base and coupling the coupling mechanism to the base.
CABLE CONNECTION SYSTEM
A cable connection system and a method of using the cable connection system. The cable connection system includes a base and a tube enveloping electrical cabling. The cabling is electrically connected to base connectors of the base. The base is configured to be physically and electrically connected to a rack. The base is at a fixed distance from the tube and is rotated around a center axis of the tube by a first angle within an angular range encompassing from more than zero degrees to less than 360 degrees.
CLOUD-BASED SCALE-UP SYSTEM COMPOSITION
Technologies for composing a managed node with multiple processors on multiple compute sleds to cooperatively execute a workload include a memory, one or more processors connected to the memory, and an accelerator. The accelerator further includes a coherence logic unit that is configured to receive a node configuration request to execute a workload. The node configuration request identifies the compute sled and a second compute sled to be included in a managed node. The coherence logic unit is further configured to modify a portion of local working data associated with the workload on the compute sled in the memory with the one or more processors of the compute sled, determine coherence data indicative of the modification made by the one or more processors of the compute sled to the local working data in the memory, and send the coherence data to the second compute sled of the managed node.
Patch panel assembly
A patch panel assembly mounts in a rack on a side of the rack other than the front side of the rack and other than the back side of the rack and fits within a volume of space not occupied by rack slots of the rack. In some embodiments the patch panel assembly includes brackets that articulate into out of the volume of space in the rack in which the patch panel assembly is mounted to allow access to patch cable connectors coupled in the brackets of the patch panel assembly.
KVM SWITCH, MOUNTING BRACKET AND SYSTEM
A body part of a KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) switch includes a clamp that holds a cable and is movable in a horizontal direction, and a stay that is equipped with the cable clamp and is movable in a depth direction of the body part to eliminate of the cable hanging down.
