The primary and secondary substrates are disposed on one side of the bracket. The secondary substrate has a termination of the first communication port.

BATTERY INTERCONNECTS

Provided are interconnects for interconnecting a set of battery cells, assemblies comprising these interconnects, methods of forming such interconnects, and methods of forming such assemblies. An interconnect includes a conductor comprising two portions electrically isolated from each other. At least one portion may include two contacts for connecting to battery cells and a fuse forming an electrical connection between these two contacts. The interconnect may also include an insulator adhered to the conductor and mechanically supporting the two portions of the conductor. The insulator may include an opening such that the fuse overlaps with this opening, and the opening does not interfere with the operation of the fuse. In some embodiments, the fuse may not directly interface with any other structures. Furthermore, the interconnect may include a temporary substrate adhered to the insulator such that the insulator is disposed between the temporary substrate and the conductor.

The present invention relates to different embodiments of lighting fixtures, such as high bay lighting fixtures, comprising one or more improved features. Some of these features include the direct mounting of emitters on a heat sink and/or the use of a template-like board for providing an electrical connection between emitters. These features can improve heat dissipation from the emitters and simplify fabrication. In other embodiments, expensive lens optics of prior art SSL fixtures can be replaced with a flat lens and reflector in order to produce a fixture having a satisfactory spacing criterion.

A lighting unit for a vehicle has a light source carrier with an arrangement of data lines. The lighting unit also has a plurality of light sources positioned on the light source carrier, each of which has an integrated control unit and which are interconnected via the arrangement of data lines in order to exchange data according to a predefined protocol. The rear face of the light source carrier has a plurality of cavities. The front face of the light source carrier is light-conductive, at least in the region of the cavities. The arrangement of data lines is on the rear face of the light source carrier and the line ends of the data lines lead up to or into the number of cavities. At least one light source is fitted into each of the plurality of cavities, such that each light emission surface is oriented towards the floor of the cavity and the light source is electrically contacted and held in the cavity by electrical and mechanical contact with the line ends of the data lines.

A micro power distribution box is provided which includes a device, a connector/housing and a cover. The device has a substrate, at least one first finger, at least one second finger, and at least one electrical component. The at least one first finger and the at least one second finger are electrically connected to one another. The at least one first finger has first, second and third portions. The at least one second finger has first and second portions. The substrate is overmolded to the first portions of the at least one first and second fingers. The substrate is not overmolded to the second portions of the at least one first and second fingers or to the third portion of the at least one first finger. The second portions of the at least one first and second fingers extend outwardly from the substrate. The second portion of the at least one first finger is a high current contact. The second portion of the at least one second finger is a contact pin. The third portion of the at least one first finger is exposed via an aperture provided through the substrate. The at least one electrical component is directly mounted to the third portion of the at least one first finger in order to electrically connect the at least one electrical component to the at least one first finger. The connector/housing is configured to house the device therein and is configured to be connected to a mating connector. The cover is configured to be secured to the connector/housing in a manner which prevents the device from being removed from the connector/housing.

A control module attached to a lighting fixture and having a front cover portion may comprise one or more sensors, such as a daylight and/or occupancy sensor, for sensing information through the front cover portion. The control module may have a main printed circuit board (PCB) that extends from a front side to a rear side of the control module, and a sensor PCB perpendicular to the main PCB to enable at least one sensor attached to the sensor PCB to face the front side of the control module. The main PCB may comprise a wireless communication circuit and an antenna for communicating radio frequency (RF) signals, wherein at least a portion of the antenna is located within a plastic lip of the front cover portion of the control module. The control module may further have a conductive enclosure to reduce radio-frequency interference noise from coupling into the antenna.
