Printed circuit board
A printed circuit board includes an insulating layer, and a first wiring layer at least partially embedded in one surface of the insulating layer, one surface of the first wiring layer being exposed from the one surface of the insulating layer. The insulating layer includes a first insulating layer covering at least a portion of a side surface of the first wiring layer, and a second insulating layer disposed on the first insulating layer and the first wiring layer, and the first and second insulating layers include different insulating materials.
Selective segment via plating process and structure
A selective segment via plating process for manufacturing a circuit board selectively interconnects inner conductive layers as separate segments within the same via. Plating resist is applied to a conductive layer of an inner core and then stripped off after an electroless plating process. Stripping of the electroless plating on the plating resist results in a plating discontinuity on the via wall. In a subsequent electroplating process, the plug non-conductive layer can not be plated due to the plating discontinuity. The resulting circuit board structure has separate electrically interconnected segments within the via.
Circuit board with rigid portion and flexible portion having connecting end and electronic package using the same
A circuit board and an electronic package using the same are provided. The circuit board includes a rigid board body, at least one bendable extension portion, connecting members, and shielding members. The rigid board body includes conductive layers and dielectric layers therebetween. The extension portion is connected to a side of the rigid board body and formed by layers of the conductive layers and at least one layer of the dielectric layers extending outside the rigid board body. The connecting members are arranged on a connecting end of the extension portion and electrically connected to a signal layer of the conductive layers. The shielding members are arranged around the corresponding connecting members and electrically connected to a ground layer of the conductive layers. The connecting members and the shielding members protrude from the connecting end. A height of the shielding members is lower than a height of the connecting members.
Printed circuit board, circuit and method for producing a circuit
Circuit having a first printed circuit board and a second printed circuit board. In the circuit, the printed circuit boards spaced apart from one another by means of an air gap are mechanically connected together by at least one power semiconductor.
PRINTED WIRING BOARD
A printed wiring board includes an insulating layer, a conductor layer formed on the insulating layer, an adhesive layer formed on the conductor layer and including organic material, and a resin insulating layer formed on the insulating layer such that the resin insulating layer is covering the adhesive layer on the conductor layer formed on the insulating layer. The resin insulating layer includes resin and inorganic particles dispersed in the resin, and the adhesive layer has a smooth film part and a protruding part including protrusions protruding from the smooth film part such that a number of the inorganic particles in spaces between the protrusions with respect to a predetermined area is smaller than a number of the inorganic particles outside the spaces between the protrusions with respect to the predetermined area.
Wiring circuit board
A wiring circuit board includes a metal supporting board; an insulating layer; and a conductive layer in this order in a thickness direction. The conductive layer includes a terminal portion, and a tail line portion extending from the terminal portion. The terminal portion has a via portion that penetrates the insulating layer in the thickness direction and is connected to the metal supporting board. The tail line portion has a base end portion that has a width different from a width of the terminal portion in a direction orthogonal to the extending direction of the tail line portion and that is connected with the terminal portion; and a second via portion that penetrates the insulating layer in the thickness direction and that is connected to the metal supporting board.
Single layer capacitor
A single layer capacitor can include a substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. A resistive layer can be formed over at least a portion of the first surface of the substrate. A first conductive layer can be formed over at least a portion of the resistive layer. A second conductive layer can be formed over at least a portion of the second surface of the substrate. As such, the single layer capacitor can include a resistor and a capacitor formed in series with one another.
