FLOOR TOOL
A floor tool for an apparatus for cleaning a floor surface. The floor tool including a floor facing surface having a floor facing inlet for receiving dirty air, an outlet aperture for communication with the suction source, and a passage in fluid communication with the outlet aperture, which passage extends laterally across the floor facing surface and terminates at respective lateral inlets for receiving dirty air. The floor tool further including a sealing member for engaging with a floor surface during use, which sealing member extends away from the floor facing surface and laterally across the floor facing surface to block a flow of air towards the passage when the floor tool is engaged with a floor surface. During use, the or a substantial portion of the weight of the floor tool is borne/carried by the sealing member.
CYCLONIC SEPARATING DEVICE FOR UPRIGHT VACUUM CLEANER AND UPRIGHT VACUUM CLEANER HAVING THE SAME
A cyclonic separating device (900) for an upright vacuum cleaner and an upright vacuum cleaner (1) with the same are disclosed. The cyclonic separating device (900) includes a dirt cup (37), a filter (92) and a cyclonic cone assembly (93). The filter (92) is disposed in the dirt cup (37) and includes a filter inlet (92a) and a filter outlet (92b) communicating between the filter inlet (92a) and an air outlet (373). The cyclonic cone assembly (93) includes a cyclone (931) and a cyclonic guide (932), in which a first end of the cyclone (931) is communicated with an air inlet (372), and the cyclonic guide (932) is fitted in a second end of the cyclone (931) and is detachably fitted over the filter (92) to spirally guide dirty air introduced into the cyclone (931) from the air inlet (372) to the filter inlet (92a).
UPRIGHT VACUUM CLEANER
An upright vacuum cleaner (1) includes: a brushroll assembly (100) including a brushroll casing (12) and a brushroll (11), the brushroll casing (12) defining a brushroll air-suction channel (122) therein; a motor assembly (200) including a motor housing (21) and a motor (22), the motor housing (21) having an air exhaust hole (213), a dirty air outlet (211) and a clean air inlet (212) and defining a motor air-suction channel (216) and a motor air-exhaust channel; and a body assembly (300) including a body (31) and a dirt cup (37) mounted to the body (31), the dirt cup (37) having a separating chamber (371) communicating with the dirty air outlet (211) and the clean air inlet (212) respectively.
VACUUM CLEANER
A vacuum cleaner has an agitator assembly that is coupled to a motor via a belt, and a belt shifting assembly which has a belt shifter which moves the belt between engagement with a drive pulley or an idler pulley on the agitator assembly. A biasing member biases the belt shifter between engagement with the drive pulley and the idler pulley.
VACUUM CLEANER
A vacuum cleaner includes a foot assembly having a suction inlet thereon, a suction source in fluid communication with the suction inlet to produce a working airflow therethrough, and a dirt container in fluid communication with the suction inlet and suction source. The foot assembly further comprises a body defined by a central portion and a pair of extension arms, a rotatable agitator on each extension arm, and a drive assembly configured to counter-rotate the agitators. The counter-rotating agitators are operable to cooperate with the suction source to direct dust and debris towards the suction inlet.
Cleaning brush for a floor cleaner and floor cleaner with a cleaning brush
The invention relates to a cleaning brush for a floor cleaner, in particular, a self-propelled and self-steering floor cleaner, including at least one brush unit having a brush body defining a brush axis and being provided with cleaning bristles and having a first end and a second end, the at least one brush unit including at the first end or in the region of the first end a torque receiver device for coupling with a drive device of the floor cleaner. To provide such a cleaning brush which can be reliably mounted on a floor cleaner in a constructionally simple way, the at least one brush unit includes a bearing device for mounting on the floor cleaner, which is arranged between the first end and the second end. The invention also relates to a floor cleaner with a cleaning brush, in particular, a self-propelled and self-steering floor cleaner.
VACUUM CLEANER POWER NOZZLE HAVING SELECTIVELY INTRODUCED SECONDARY AIRFLOW FOR OPERATION ON CARPETED SURFACES
A vacuum cleaner power nozzle adjustable for use on low- and high-pile carpets. Vent openings across the front of the nozzle selectively open to introduce a secondary flow of air at the leading side of the roller brush of the nozzle. The secondary flow of air reduces resistance to movement of the power nozzle over high-pile carpet, and is drawn under the rotating roller brush to aid in displacement and removal of particulate from the carpet.
Bare floor vacuum cleaner
A vacuum cleaner having a housing and a suction inlet thereon, the cleaner comprising a suction source in fluid communication with the suction inlet to produce a working airflow therethrough and a dirt container in fluid communication with the suction inlet and suction source. The housing further comprises a body defined by a central portion and a pair of extension arms that extend laterally outwardly from the central portion, wherein each extension comprises a mount, which receives a rotatable agitator thereon. A drive assembly is configured to counter-rotate each agitator with respect to the other agitator, and wherein the suction inlet is positioned on the housing rearward of, and between, each of the axes of rotation of each agitator. The counter-rotating agitators are operable to cooperate with the suction source to direct dust and debris outside the periphery of the housing along a converging debris path, towards the suction inlet.
