Waterless cleaning system and method for solar trackers using an autonomous robot
A solar tracker waterless cleaning system for cleaning solar panels of a solar tracker being able to be positioned at a pre-determined angle, including a docking station and an autonomous robotic cleaner (ARC), the docking station coupled with an edge of the solar tracker, the ARC including at least one rechargeable power source, at least one cleaning cylinder, at least one edge sensor, at least one cleaning cylinder direct current (DC) drive motor including a built-in encoder, a cleaning cylinder drive belt and a controller, the cleaning cylinder including a plurality of fins which rotates for generating a directional air flow for pushing dirt off of the surface of the solar tracker without water, the cleaning cylinder DC drive motor for driving the cleaning cylinder, the controller for controlling a cleaning process of the ARC, the built-in encoder for determining a revolutions per minute (RPM) of the cleaning cylinder.
EDGE CLEANING BRUSHES FOR FLOOR CLEANER
A surface cleaning apparatus can include a housing adapted to move across a surface to be cleaned, an edge brush, and a brushroll driven by a brush motor. The edge brush is connectable with a drive coupling for rotating the edge brush, and is indirectly driven by the brush motor via the brushroll. In one aspect, the edge brush and drive coupling comprise a modular unit removably coupled to the housing. In another aspect, the drive coupling can include a worm and a belt.
SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A surface cleaning apparatus is provided with a base assembly, an upright assembly, and a fluid recovery system. The base assembly includes a base housing, a brush chamber, at least one brushroll in the brush chamber; and a removable brush housing. A portion of the brush chamber is removable with the brush housing.
Removable rotatable driven agitator for surface cleaning head
A removable rotatable driven agitator is used in a surface cleaning head and is driven by a drive mechanism that axially engages a driven end of the agitator. The removable rotatable driven agitator may be located in an openable agitator chamber for purposes of removing debris and/or removing the agitator. The openable agitator chamber may be covered by an external cover that is movable between an open position and a closed position. The removable agitator may be secured in the agitator chamber by the external cover. The removable rotatable agitator may have an end cap mounted on a rotatable bushing at a non-driven end and may have a splined driven member at the driven end to engage a splined drive member on the drive mechanism.
FLOOR TOOL ATTACHMENT FOR USE WITH VACUUM CLEANER
An attachment for a vacuum cleaner includes a head, a brush roll, an electric motor, and an attachment conduit. The head includes a suction opening, a brush roll cavity, and a battery cavity defined therein. The brush roll cavity is in fluid communication with the suction opening. The battery cavity has an elongate shape and a first longitudinal axis. The brush roll is rotatably coupled to the head. A majority of the brush roll is disposed within the brush roll cavity. The brush roll is rotatable about a rotational axis. The electric motor is disposed within the head. The electric motor drives the brush roll. The attachment conduit is in fluid communication with the suction opening. The attachment conduit is coupled to the head and has a second longitudinal axis. Each of the first longitudinal axis and the second longitudinal axis is angled relative to the rotational axis.
Vacuum cleaner
A vacuum cleaner includes an upright body mounted to a base that moves over a surface to be cleaned. A rotational coupling can be provided between the upright body and the base for coupling the upright body to the base for movement about at least one rotational axis. The rotational coupling can include at least a swivel joint. A cord rewinder can be provided above the swivel joint for storing and dispensing a power cord.
Remote-access duster
A remote access duster with a body, a flexible duster cord loop that is configured to be propelled such that part of the loop moves outward from the body while another part moves inward toward the body, and a vacuum source that is configured to draw air over the cord.
