EDGE CLEANING BRUSHES FOR FLOOR CLEANER
A surface cleaning apparatus can include a housing adapted to move across a surface to be cleaned, and an edge cleaning brush provided on the housing. The edge cleaning brush can include an attachment hub connectable with a drive coupling for rotating the brush, a cleaning implement configured to contact the surface to be cleaned, and a tensioner hub applying downward force onto the cleaning implement. Drive couplings for the edge cleaning brush are also disclosed, such as drive couplings including a worm and belt that are indirectly drive via a brushroll.
SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A surface cleaning apparatus is provided with a base assembly, an upright assembly, and a fluid recovery system. The base assembly includes a base housing, a brush chamber, at least one brushroll in the brush chamber; and a removable brush housing. A portion of the brush chamber is removable with the brush housing.
SWEEPING MACHINE FOR FLOORS AND CARPETS
A sweeping machine for floors and carpets, comprising a body with wheels for gliding and a maneuvering handle, the body supporting at least one cleaning roller that has a horizontal axis and is actuated by an electric motor by virtue of torque transmission elements; there are elements for the suction of air from a region proximate to the at least one cleaning roller, the suction elements being actuated by the same electric motor for driving the at least one cleaning roller.
CLEANER HEAD FOR A VACUUM CLEANER
A cleaner head for a vacuum cleaner includes a single agitator rotatably mounted within a housing, the agitator being arranged transversely within the housing such that it is perpendicular to the direction of travel of the cleaner head during use, the agitator being conical in shape, such that a first end has a larger diameter than a second end.
VACUUM CLEANER
A vacuum cleaner includes a foot assembly having a suction inlet thereon, a suction source in fluid communication with the suction inlet to produce a working airflow there through, and a dirt container in fluid communication with the suction inlet and suction source. The foot assembly further includes a body defined by a central portion and a pair of extension arms, a rotatable agitator on each extension arm, and a drive assembly configured to counter-rotate the agitators. The counter-rotating agitators are operable to cooperate with the suction source to direct dust and debris towards the suction inlet.
CLEANER HEAD FOR A VACUUM CLEANER
A cleaner head for a vacuum cleaner has an agitator rotatably mounted within a housing. The agitator has a main body having a wall, and bristles mounted adjacent the wall. Tips of the bristles are located at a first radial distance from a central longitudinal axis of the agitator. A tip of the wall is located at a second radial distance from the central longitudinal axis. The bristles have a first configuration in which the first radial distance is greater than the second radial distance, and a second configuration in which the first radial distance is less than or equal to the second radial distance. The bristles flex from the first configuration to the second configuration when the bristles move into contact with a surface to be cleaned, and flex from the second configuration to the first configuration when the bristles move out of contact with the surface.
Blowing-suction machine
A blowing-suction machine includes an engine, a volute, a vent assembly and a vacuum pipe. The engine is installed at an upper end of the volute; the vent assembly is installed at a front end of the volute; an output shaft of the engine in the volute is coupled to a vane; a first shaft of a self-propelled device is coupled to a lower end of the first shaft; both ends of a second shaft of the self-propelled device are coupled to a wheel self-propelled device and a rolling-sweeping-combing device respectively; and the vacuum pipe has an end coupled to the vent assembly and the other end disposed in front of a garbage deposit box. This disclosure features a simple structure and a clever design and provides the self-propelled, automatic sweeping, automatic grass combing, and garbage crushing functions to improve the blowing-suction rate significantly and provide a convenient use.
VACUUM CLEANER
A vacuum cleaner includes a main body and a suction nozzle that suctions up dust on the floor. The suction nozzle includes a housing, a driver, and a rotating brush. The housing includes an entrance through which the dust travels to the main body, a first shaft member, and a first rib disposed along a circumference of the first shaft member. The rotating brush includes a cylindrical body rotated by the first shaft member. The rotating brush also includes a brush member attached to an outer surface of the cylindrical body. The brush member rubs against the floor to direct the dust on the floor towards the entrance. As the brush member rotates, it also comes into contact with the first rib. The brush member includes a plurality of filaments. Some of the filaments are elastically deformed in the direction of the rotation axis upon contacting the first rib.
VACUUM CLEANER
A vacuum cleaner includes an upright body mounted to a base that moves over a surface to be cleaned. A rotational coupling can be provided between the upright body and the base for coupling the upright body to the base for movement about at least one rotational axis. The rotational coupling can include at least a swivel joint. A cord rewinder can be provided above the swivel joint for storing and dispensing a power cord.
FLOOR CLEANER
A floor cleaner is disclosed including a first cleaning roller that is operatively positioned on a cleaning head to engage the surface to be cleaned. A second cleaning roller is operatively positioned on the cleaning head, parallel to the first cleaning roller. The second cleaning roller is movable between a first position engaging the surface to be cleaned and a second position spaced from the surface to be cleaned. A carriage assembly is coupled to the second cleaning roller. The carriage assembly is configured to move the second cleaning roller between the first position and the second position. A drive assembly is operatively connected to and configured to rotate at least one of the first cleaning roller and the second cleaning roller. An actuator is operable to move the carriage assembly from the first position to the second position.
