Vacuum cleaner
Disclosed herein is a vacuum cleaner including a brush to rotate and collect foreign materials on the floor, and a grinder to grind the foreign materials collected through the brush. Since the hair-like foreign materials wound around the brush are grinded and cut by the grinders, a cleaning cycle of the brush can be extended.
Upright vacuum cleaner including rotary brush
An upright vacuum cleaner includes a cleaning head for removing debris from a floor, a rotary brush for agitating the debris, and a debris tube connected to the cleaning head for receiving the debris from the cleaning head. The upright vacuum cleaner also includes a motor to drive the rotary brush. The motor includes a rotatable drive shaft. The upright vacuum cleaner further includes a pulley assembly adapted to operatively connect the motor to the rotary brush. The pulley assembly includes a clutch and a belt. The belt is adapted to extend between the drive shaft and the clutch. The clutch is connected to the rotary brush to rotate the rotary brush. The upright vacuum cleaner also includes a clamp connecting the clutch to the cleaning head. The tightness of the belt is adjusted when the clamp moves between an unfastened position and a fastened position.
SURFACE CLEANER
A surface cleaner may have various features including an engagement mechanism secured to an agitator support frame and positioned to be pivoted by an agitator lift lever as the agitator lift lever translates, the pivoting engagement mechanism lifting the agitator support frame and the agitator secured thereto from a lowered position to a raised position. Other features may include a projection to limit belt slack when the agitator assembly is raised, a compact detent mechanism for releasing a spine assembly in an upright surface cleaner, a compact motor drive assembly, a self-priming centrifugal pump, a fluid-dispensing system having a high flow operating state and a low flow operating state, and a clean-out tray in which a base of the surface cleaner may be docked.
Cyclonic separating device for upright vacuum cleaner and upright vacuum cleaner having the same
A cyclonic separating device for an upright vacuum cleaner and an upright vacuum cleaner with the same are disclosed. The cyclonic separating device includes a dirt cup, a filter and a cyclonic cone assembly. The filter is disposed in the dirt cup and includes a filter inlet and a filter outlet communicating between the filter inlet and an air outlet. The cyclonic cone assembly includes a cyclone cylinder and a cyclonic guide, in which a first end of the cyclone cylinder is communicated with an air inlet, and the cyclonic guide is fitted in a second end of the cyclone cylinder and is detachably fitted over the filter to spirally guide dirty air introduced into the cyclone cylinder from the air inlet to the filter inlet.
Upright vacuum cleaner including magnets
An upright vacuum cleaner includes a blower for pulling air and debris through the upright vacuum cleaner, a motor connected to the blower, and a cleaning head for removing the debris from a floor. The cleaning head includes a front wall, a rear wall, a first sidewall, and a second sidewall. The first sidewall and the second sidewall extend between the front wall and rear wall. The vacuum cleaner further includes a debris tube connected to the cleaning head for receiving the debris from the cleaning head. The vacuum cleaner also includes magnet assemblies adapted to prevent metal objects from entering the cleaning head. Each magnet assembly includes a bracket and a magnet. The bracket includes a horizontal plate and a vertical plate. The magnet is connected to the vertical plate. The front wall includes shelves to support the magnet assemblies. Each shelf is arranged to receive one of the magnet assemblies such that the horizontal plate rests on the shelf and the magnet is positioned below the shelf.
Vacuum cleaner
A vacuum cleaner includes a foot assembly having a suction inlet thereon, a suction source in fluid communication with the suction inlet to produce a working airflow there through, and a dirt container in fluid communication with the suction inlet and suction source. The foot assembly further includes a body defined by a central portion and a pair of extension arms, a rotatable agitator on each extension arm, and a drive assembly configured to counter-rotate the agitators. The counter-rotating agitators are operable to cooperate with the suction source to direct dust and debris towards the suction inlet.
CLEANER HEAD FOR A VACUUM CLEANER
A cleaner head for a vacuum cleaner includes a single agitator rotatably mounted within a housing, the agitator being arranged transversely within the housing such that it is perpendicular to the direction of travel of the cleaner head during use, the agitator being conical in shape, such that a first end has a larger diameter than a second end.
VACUUM CLEANER INCLUDING DEBRIS TUBE AND HANDLE
An upright vacuum cleaner includes a cleaning head for removing debris from a floor, a debris tube connected to the cleaning head for receiving the debris, and a steering handle connected to the debris tube. The upright vacuum cleaner also includes a hinge connecting the debris tube to the cleaning head such that the debris tube rotates relative to the cleaning head. The upright vacuum cleaner further includes braces to support the debris tube as the debris tube rotates relative to the cleaning head. The braces are disposed on opposite sides of the debris tube. Each brace includes a bearing connected to the cleaning head to allow the brace to rotate relative to the cleaning head.
REMOVABLE ROTATABLE DRIVEN AGITATOR FOR SURFACE CLEANING HEAD
A removable rotatable driven agitator is used in a surface cleaning head and is driven by a drive mechanism that axially engages a driven end of the agitator. The removable rotatable driven agitator may be located in an openable agitator chamber for purposes of removing debris and/or removing the agitator. The openable agitator chamber may be covered by an external cover that is movable between an open position and a closed position. The removable agitator may be secured in the agitator chamber by the external cover. The removable rotatable agitator may have an end cap mounted on a rotatable bushing at a non-driven end and may have a splined driven member at the driven end to engage a splined drive member on the drive mechanism.
