A vacuum cleaner including: a cleaner body configured to generate a suction force; and a suctioner configured to have a brush drum rotatably provided on a suction port sucking foreign objects by the suction force. The brush drum includes a cylindrical drum, a blade assembly provided on an outer circumferential surface of the drum to extend along a rotational shaft direction, and a cleaning member provided on the blade assembly to clean dust or the foreign objects on a cleaning surface. The blade assembly includes a cleaning member support part configured to accommodate and support a part of the cleaning member and a stopper provided in the cleaning member at intervals to restrict the cleaning member from being deformed in an opposite direction to a rotational direction of the brush drum.

A vacuum cleaner nozzle includes a housing with, formed on an underside of the housing and extending in a transverse direction, a suction orifice that is bounded by what in a working direction aligned perpendicular to the transverse direction is a front suction-orifice edge and by what in the working direction is a rear suction-orifice edge, with a suction duct disposed in the housing and adjoining the suction orifice, with a suction port extension, which is also fluidically in communication with the suction duct and is disposed, relative to the working direction, on a rear side of the housing. The vacuum cleaner nozzle further includes a secondary air aperture disposed in front of the suction orifice and fluidically in communication with the suction duct. The secondary air aperture is at least partly covered by a flexible textile valve element

Cleaning equipment

A cleaning equipment is disclosed, which includes a housing, a moving assembly, a cleaning assembly and a cliff sensor, the cliff sensor being arranged on the housing, the moving assembly or the cleaning assembly; the cleaning assembly includes at least one first cleaning sub-assembly which includes an installing part, a first component and at least one second component; the first component and the second component extend outwards and rotate along with rotation of the installing part so as to stir dirt on the surface to be cleaned; the first component passes through the gap between the housing and the surface to be cleaned while rotating, while the second component does not pass through the gap while rotating. The cleaning equipment lowers frequency of blocking the cliff sensor from transmitting and receiving signal art, and improves detecting accuracy of the cliff sensor.

SIDE BRUSHES FOR A ROBOTIC VACUUM CLEANER

A robotic cleaner may include an air inlet, a suction motor, the suction motor being fluidly coupled to the air inlet, and a first primary side brush configured to rotate about a first primary side brush rotation axis. The first primary side brush rotation axis may extend transverse to a surface to be cleaned at a first non-perpendicular angle.

Robotic vacuum

A robotic cleaning apparatus can include a body and at least one antenna extending from a periphery of the body. The at least one antenna can be configured to rotate about an axis that extends substantially parallel to a surface to be cleaned.

Using laser sensor for floor type detection

A robotic cleaning device and a method for operating the robotic cleaning device to detect a structure of a surface over which the robotic cleaning device moves. The method includes illuminating the surface with structured vertical light, capturing an image of the surface, detecting at least one luminous section in the captured image, and determining, from an appearance of the at least one luminous section, the structure of the surface.

Side brush and robotic cleaner

A side brush for a robotic cleaner. The side brush is rotatable about a rotation axis in a rotational direction and has a brush body and numerous linear bristles including a first bristle having a base end at the brush body and an opposite distal end. An imaginary line extends perpendicularly to the rotation axis. The first bristle extends in a bristle direction outwardly from the brush body. Seen in a top view, the bristle direction extends at a first angle to the imaginary line with the distal end pointing rearwardly in relation to the rotational direction. Seen in a side view, the bristle direction extends at a second acute angle to the rotation axis pointing away from the brush body. A robotic cleaner having such a side brush is also disclosed herein.
