The display device includes: one or more pixels placed in an active area and a pixel circuit associated with the pixels; and a power supply line placed in an inactive area outside the active area and connected to the pixel circuit. At least one side of the power supply line may be covered with an overcoating layer. The overcoating layer includes a first portion adjacent to the side of the power supply line and a second portion which is farther from the power supply line than the first portion. The first portion has a smaller thickness than the second portion. The first portion may be about half the thickness of the second portion.

A separation insulating layer may be disposed between the first semiconductor pattern and the second semiconductor pattern. The storage capacitor may include a first capacitor electrode and a second capacitor electrode, which are sequentially stacked on the separation insulating layer. The first capacitor electrode may have a stacked structure of a first electrode layer including the same material as the second semiconductor pattern and a second electrode layer including a material having lower resistance than the first electrode layer.

An OLED panel includes a light emitting substrate and a color filter substrate. The light-emitting substrate includes a multi-layer OLED film emitting white light. The color filter substrate includes a color filter array, a conductive layer that is electrically connected to a wall-shaped elastic conductor that is wearing a metal cap. The two substrates are laminated together in a manner that the metal cap is in direct contact with cathode electrode of the OLED at the site of pixel definition layer. The total resistance of the cathode layer of the OLED is therefore reduced significantly, and voltage-drop on cathode and associated image artifacts are minimized.
