DISPLAY PANELS

Display panels are provided according to embodiments of the present disclosure. The display panel includes a substrate, anodes disposed on the substrate, and a pixel definition layer. The anodes include at least one first sub-anode and at least one second sub-anode adjacent to first sub-anode. A difference between a first distance between a side of the first sub-anode away from the substrate and the substrate and a second distance between a side of the second sub-anode away from the substrate and the substrate is greater than or equal to a thickness of the second sub-anode.

The display apparatus includes a pixel portion and a dummy pixel portion placed outside the pixel portion and not contributing to display; the pixel portion includes a plurality of light-emitting devices; each of the light-emitting devices includes a pixel electrode, a first layer that includes a light-emitting layer, and a common electrode; the first layers of adjacent pixels of a plurality of pixels are separated by a first insulating layer containing an inorganic material and a second insulating layer containing an organic material; the side surface of the first layer includes a region in contact with the first insulating layer; the second insulating layer is over and in contact with the first insulating layer and is placed below the common electrode; the dummy pixel portion includes a plurality of dummy light-emitting devices; each of the dummy light-emitting devices includes a conductive layer and a second layer; the side surface of the second layer includes a region in contact with the first insulating layer; the second insulating layer is over and in contact with the first insulating layer; the conductive layer contains the same material as the pixel electrode; and the second layer contains the same material as the light-emitting layer.

The first electrode layer is disposed on one side of the driving backplane and includes a plurality of first electrodes. The pixel definition layer is arranged on the side, same as the first electrode layer, of the driving backplane and being provided with a pixel opening exposing each of the first electrodes. The pixel definition layer is provided with a separation slot formed between adjacent ones of the first electrodes; and a first cut-off slot is provided on a sidewall of the pixel definition layer. The light-emitting layer covers the cut-off layer and the first electrode layer. The second electrode covers the light-emitting layer.
