Each of the first electrode includes: a metal layer having a main surface facing the organic light-emitting layer; and a transparent electrode covering a main surface of the metal layer and a side surface of the metal layer and containing a transparent conductive oxide. The metal layer includes: a first metal layer having a hydrogen absorption capacity; and a second metal layer provided on the first metal layer and facing the organic light-emitting layer with the transparent electrode interposed therebetween. A peripheral edge of the first metal layer is separated from the transparent electrode.
