A solid pet waste vacuum and bagging device is described. The device is equipped with a canister, collection chute, vacuum motor, and a bag cartridge. The device eliminates the need for an individual to come into any contact with pet waste, including the temperature and the smell conventionally known to emanate from pet waste. The device employs the vacuum motor to collect pet waste within the bag via the collection chute. The collection chute is lined with a plastic bag, which is sealed and released from the collection chute within the canister upon activation of a dispose button by the user. The device is powered by rechargeable batteries, and may be equipped with a charging cradle to maintain a fully charged battery.

Evacuation Station

An evacuation station includes a base and a canister removably attached to the base. The base includes a ramp having an inclined surface for receiving a robotic cleaner having a debris bin. The ramp defines an evacuation intake opening arranged to pneumatically interface with the debris bin. The base also includes a first conduit portion pneumatically connected to the evacuation intake opening, an air mover having an inlet and an exhaust, and a particle filter pneumatically the exhaust of the air mover. The canister includes a second conduit portion arranged to pneumatically interface with the first conduit portion to form a pneumatic debris intake conduit, an exhaust conduit arranged to pneumatically connect to the inlet of the air mover when the canister is attached to the base, and a separator in pneumatic communication with the second conduit portion.

The present invention relates to the field of machines for cleaning, particularly vacuum cleaning devices. There is disclosed a filter cartridge for a vacuum cleaner comprising first and second opposite end walls, a side wall or walls which extend between the end walls so as to define an enclosure which surrounds a filter interior, wherein one or more of the walls comprises filter membrane material, the cartridge having an opening provided through the first end wall for receiving air-entrained detritus into the interior, the opening being defined by a rigid support structure which spans and supports the first end wall of the cartridge. The cartridge typically includes a non-return valve which closes when suction is removed so as to help prevent collected detritus escaping from the filter cartridge interior. The valve may comprise a conical valve with flexible facets, or a cantilever flap.

The present invention relates to a vacuum cleaner filter bag for an upright vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner filter bag according to the invention thereby has a greater length than width, one long side and one narrow side resulting. It is formed from two bag walls which are joined together circumferentially so that an internal space is configured between the two bag walls. One bag wall thereby has an inlet opening through which air to be cleaned can flow into the vacuum cleaner filter bag. The vacuum cleaner filter bag according to the invention is distinguished by the bag wall in which the inlet opening is introduced having folding which extends in the longitudinal direction of the vacuum cleaner filter bag, as a result of which this bag wall has increased flexibility and the vacuum cleaner filter bag opens during folding-over of the retaining plate when inserting the filter bag in a vacuum cleaner such that the air can enter essentially unimpeded into the filter bag.
