Cable with molded resin
A cable with a molded resin includes a cable including an electric wire and a sheath covering the electric wire, the electric wire including a central conductor and an insulation covering the central conductor, and a molded resin covering a part of the electric wire protruding from the sheath in a longitudinal direction thereof, the molded resin being apart from the sheath. The electric wire is bent at not less than one bent part in the molded resin.
Method for in-situ synthesis of silicon nanoparticles
The invention relates to a method for in-situ synthesis of silicon nanoparticles in a thermosetting polymeric matrix, the thermosetting and thermoset matrices obtained in this way and a material including same. The method includes the following steps: a) forming an aqueous-phase/organic-phase inverse emulsion, wherein the aqueous phase includes at least a basic catalyst and the organic phase includes at least a non-cross-linked (co)polymer precursor chosen from an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic epoxy resin precursor, a polyester-imide precursor, an unsaturated/epoxy polyester (co)polymer precursor, a polyether/epoxy (co)polymer precursor and a polyurethane precursor; b) introducing, into the inverse emulsion formed in step a), at least one silicon precursor forming a complete network whereof the rate of hydrolysis is greater than the cross-linking speed of the (co)polymer and c) stirring the mixture obtained in step b) and heating to a temperature between 20 C. and 70 C.
WATER-RESISTANT PARALLEL CABLE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An electrical cable, including: a conductor set including: a first insulated conductor; a second insulated conductor; and a ground conductor, the first insulated conductor, the second insulated conductor, and the ground conductor arranged with the ground conductor positioned between the first insulated conductor and the second insulated conductor; and a jacket disposed about the conductor set, the jacket including: a central portion proximate the ground conductor; outer portions proximate the first insulated conductor and the second insulated conductor; and intermediate portions extending between the central portion and the outer portions, the central portion having a first thickness, the outer portions having a second thickness, and the first thickness being less than the second thickness, and the intermediate portions including depressions defining necked sections between the central portion and the outer portions.
