Linear solenoid
09865385 · 2018-01-09 · ·

A linear solenoid has a coil, a plunger, a magnetic attractive core, and a magnetic delivery core. The coil generates a magnetic force when being energized. The plunger is supported to be movable in an axial direction on an inner side of the coil. The magnetic attractive core magnetically attracts the plunger in the axial direction by the magnetic force generated by the coil. The magnetic delivery core delivers a magnetic flux to an outer surface of the plunger. A shaft that is non-magnetic and extends in the axial direction is fixed on the inner side of the coil. The plunger has a shaft hole defined around an axial center of the plunger, and the shaft is inserted in the shaft hole. The plunger slides while being in contact with the shaft. One end of the shaft is fixed to the magnetically attractive core.

LINEAR BEARING FOR AN ELECTROMAGNETIC SOLENOID AND SOLENOID HAVING SAID LINEAR BEARING

A rolling-element bearing for an electromagnetic solenoid includes a hollow cylindrical cage with a plurality of spherical pockets formed around a first circumference and a second circumference of the cage. The pockets around the first circumference are offset from the pockets around the second circumference. Spherical rolling elements are provided in the spherical pockets and are captured for free rotation in the first pockets and second pockets.

The plunger may project axially into the coil interior space, and may be adjustable axially bi-directionally between an active position proximal to the central region and a passive position distal to the central region. The solenoid drive may further include a ferromagnetic bypass device arranged coaxially to the coil arrangement, radially within the at least one coil, and spaced apart axially from the face side walls.

Electromechanical solenoid having a pole piece alignment member

An electromechanical solenoid has a solenoid assembly including a solenoid coil with a coil aperture formed therein. A pole piece assembly is positioned at least partially within the coil aperture, the pole piece assembly including a first pole piece and a second pole piece positioned at least partially within an hour-glass shaped alignment member. The first pole piece has a first bore and a first outer tapered surface extending away from the first bore, and the second pole piece has a second bore and a second outer tapered surface extending away from the second bore. An armature is moveable within the first bore and the second bore in response to a magnetic field produced by the solenoid coil.

Electromagnetic drive for a cutting device of a textile machine, cutting device and yarn clearer

An electromagnetic drive for a cutting device of a textile machine for severing a thread, a cutting device having an electromagnetic drive, and a yarn clearer having a cutting device are provided. The electromagnetic drive may comprise a solenoid and a piston configured to drive a cutting blade carrier. The piston may be guided for linear movement within the solenoid and may be configured to be linearly moved between a rest position and a working position. The electromagnetic drive may comprise an axial air gap between an end face of the piston and a counter face of a component of the solenoid. The component may be stationary relative to the piston and the axial air gap may be varier based on movement of the piston.

Electromagnetic actuating device and camshaft adjuster with an electromagnetic actuating device
