Provided are a cleaner having a circulation system of collecting water used in damp cloth, filtering the same, and supplying the filtered water to the cloth, and a control method thereof. The cleaner includes a storage unit storing water, a collecting unit intaking water used in a cloth and introducing intaken water to an upper side of the storage unit, a filter unit filtering water collected by the collecting unit, a water supply unit allowing water within the storage unit to flow out from a lower portion of the storage unit so as to be supplied to the cloth, a vacuum motor operated to cause water to be intaken to the storage unit through the collecting unit, and a pump operate to allow water to be transferred through the water supply unit.

A wet cleaning device, in particular a wet wiping device, has a cleaning roller which is rotatable about a roller axis and has a cleaning lining. The distribution nozzle is configured to dispense the cleaning fluid onto a surface to be cleaned. The floor cleaner further includes a base movable over a surface to be cleaned, the base includes a suction inlet in fluid communication with the vacuum source, a brushroll chamber, a brushroll in the brushroll chamber, the brushroll rotatable about a brushroll axis. The base further includes a brushroll cover releasably attached to the base, the brushroll cover removable to access the brushroll chamber and the brushroll, the brushroll cover having a squeegee that contacts the brushroll. The brushroll axis is between a lower end of the base and the squeegee.

A floor cleaner including a vacuum source and a base movable over a surface to be cleaned. The base includes a front side, a back side opposite the front side, a lower end configured to be adjacent the surface to be cleaned, a suction inlet adjacent the front side and adjacent the lower end of the base and in fluid communication with the vacuum source, a brushroll rotatable about a brushroll axis, a first squeegee that extends from the lower end between the suction inlet and the back side of the base, the first squeegee configured to contact the surface to be cleaned. The base further includes a second squeegee that contacts the brushroll and the brushroll axis is between the lower end of the base and the second squeegee.

A surface cleaning apparatus adapted for movement across a surface to be cleaned. The surface cleaning apparatus can dock within a storage tray and charge a power supply. Electrical contacts on the surface cleaning apparatus and the storage tray can be shielded when the surface cleaning apparatus is not docked within the storage tray. Furthermore, the storage tray can include a reservoir for a self-cleaning mode.
