Method for winding a multi-layer flat wire coil
The present invention is related to a method for winding a dual-layer flat wire coil, and to method for winding a multi-layer flat wire coil. Furthermore, the present invention is related to a device for winding such coils and to a dual-layer flat wire coil and to a multi-layer flat wire coil obtainable by performing the method of the present invention. Finally, the invention is related to a linear motor comprising such a dual-layer flat wire coil and/or multi-layer flat wire coil. According to the invention, an auxiliary winding core is used to temporarily store wire that is intended to form the odd layer of any pair of layers in the multi-layer coil.

WIRE-WOUND INDUCTOR
When dimensions in a cross section of a wire measured in a major axis direction and in a minor axis direction, which are orthogonal to each other, are defined as a major axis direction dimension and a minor axis direction dimension, respectively, and ellipticity of the cross section is expressed as (major axis direction dimension)/(minor axis direction dimension), the ellipticity of the cross section is greater than or equal to 1.3 and less than or equal to 3.0. The wire is helically wound with a single layer around a winding core portion in a state where the major axis direction extends along an axial direction of the winding core portion.
Winding apparatus and winding method
A winding apparatus includes a nozzle that is adapted to rotate about a core along a locus that is inclined relative to a center line of the core, wire material winding members that are adapted to guide a wire material wound via the nozzle to the core, and a core rotating mechanism that is adapted to rotate the core relative to the wire material winding members. The wire material winding members are disposed on either side of the core so as to sandwich a plane that includes both a rotary center of the nozzle and the center line of the core, whereby the wire material winding members extend in a tangential direction to the core such that respective tip ends thereof are oriented in a rotation direction of the core. The wire material is successively wound diagonally around the core.

COMMON-MODE CHOKE COIL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COMMON-MODE CHOKE COIL
A common-mode choke coil includes a core having a winding core portion, a first winding and a second winding. A winding start side region ranges from one end portion to a position where a first winding is brought into contact with the winding core portion, and a winding finish side region ranges from the other end portion to a position where a second winding is brought into contact with the winding core portion. The first winding is wound on the winding core portion such that the first winding is positioned on a negative direction side in an x axis direction with respect to the second winding at the same turn in the winding start side region and the second winding is interposed between the first winding and the winding core portion in the winding finish side region.
Winding machine and method of manufacturing coil
A winding machine includes a winding core around which a winding is wound, a first winding jig and a second winding jig positioned with the winding core interposed therebetween in an axial direction of a central axis of the winding core, and a first gripper and a second gripper that are located on an outer side of the winding core in a radial direction around the central axis. An outer edge portion of the first winding jig in the radial direction and an outer edge portion of the second winding jig in the radial direction are located on an outer side, in the radial direction, from the winding core. Each of the first gripper and the second gripper includes a pair of rollers to interpose and grip the winding. At least one of the first gripper or the second gripper is rotatable about the central axis.
