A vacuum cleaner includes a base and a brushroll positioned within the base. The base has a suction opening and is configured to move along a surface to be cleaned. The brushroll is rotatable relative to the base about an axis, and the brushroll includes a first end, a second end, an inflection point located between the ends, and a material that protrudes radially away from the brushroll. The material extends between the first end and the second end and wraps around the brushroll with a pitch. The material wraps in a first direction between the first end and the inflection point and wraps in a second direction between the inflection point and the second end.

A surface cleaning apparatus is provided with a primary fluid distributor and an auxiliary fluid distributor. Each distributor can have a separate and independent flow control actuator. The flow control actuator for the auxiliary fluid distributor is operably coupled with a push-push flow control mechanism, where push-push flow control mechanism has a push on/push off configuration such that pushing the auxiliary flow control actuator once starts fluid flow from the auxiliary fluid distributor and subsequently pushing the auxiliary flow control actuator again stops fluid flow from the auxiliary fluid distributor.

Various examples of a substrate cleaning apparatus and a substrate processing apparatus are described in the present disclosure. One example of the present invention is a substrate cleaning apparatus including a roll cleaning member cleaning a substrate, an inclination sensor detecting an inclination of the roll cleaning member, and an output device outputting a detection result of the inclination sensor.

Various examples of a substrate cleaning apparatus and a substrate processing apparatus are described in the present disclosure. One example of the present invention is a substrate cleaning apparatus including a roll cleaning member cleaning a substrate, an inclination sensor detecting an inclination of the roll cleaning member, and an output device outputting a detection result of the inclination sensor.

A cleaning vehicle is provided with: a chassis; a brush for cleaning a road surface; a user placement portion which is provided rearward of the brush in the chassis, and which has an operating handle; and an electrical unit for driving the brush. The cleaning vehicle is provided with a battery case which holds a removable battery, and which is thereby capable of supplying electric power from the battery to the electrical unit. In the battery case, an opening portion through which the battery can be inserted is exposed to the outside of the chassis forward of the brush.

The surface cleaning apparatus is further provided with a brushroll and a fluid delivery system comprising a fluid supply chamber and a fluid dispenser configured to dispense fluid to the brushroll.

A waste collection bag may be used by an autonomous cleaning robot (e.g., an autonomous vacuum) to store waste during a plurality of cleaning processes. The waste bag comprises a waste bag, a waste collection sachet, and an absorbent. The waste bag has a first side and a second side, where the first side has an opening for waste to enter, and is composed of filtering material. The waste collection enclosed sachet has a first side and a second side that connect to form a cavity. The waste collection enclosed sachet is tethered to the second side of the waste bag and is composed of dissolvable paper. The absorbent may absorb liquid waste and is located inside the cavity of the waste collection enclosed sachet.

The present application provides a surface cleaning apparatus and a surface cleaning head, the surface cleaning head comprising: a housing; a brush chamber disposed in a front portion of the housing and having a lower opening and a side opening; and a brush assembly removably mounted in the brush chamber comprising a connecting wall, a cleaning roller, and a side brush, the cleaning roller being configured to rotate around a transverse axis driven by a drive device, and the side brush mechanically coupled to the cleaning roller for following the roller in rotation around the transverse axis.

A surface cleaning apparatus adapted for wet cleaning includes a heated fluid delivery system having a dual-phase distributor that dispenses heated liquid and steam vapor. The dual-phase distributor can include a phase separator that separates a vapor phase of a heated fluid from a liquid phase of the heated fluid, a heated liquid outlet, and a steam vapor outlet. The apparatus can further include a liquid delivery system, and/or a recovery system.
