Solid dielectric insulated switchgear

A switchgear system operable at voltages up to 27 kV includes an enclosure containing atmospheric air and a loadbreak module disposed within the enclosure. The loadbreak module includes a loadbreak module housing made of a solid dielectric material, a vacuum interrupter enclosed within the loadbreak module housing and having a fixed contact and a movable contact, and an interchange electrically connected to the movable contact. The vacuum interrupter is operable to selectively break or establish an electrical pathway between the interchange and a terminal in response to movement of the movable contact relative to the fixed contact. The switchgear system further includes a bushing coupled to the enclosure and a disconnect switch electrically connected in series between the loadbreak module and the bushing. The disconnect switch includes a disconnect switch housing made of a solid dielectric material.

GAS INSULATED SWITCHGEAR

A basic unit portion configured by a standard unit and a variable unit portion whose shape is configured to be changeable. The basic unit portion includes: a first pressure tank with a first opening portion; a circuit breaker; a first bushing; a first disconnecting switch. The variable unit portion includes: a busbar; a second pressure tank with a second opening portion; a second bushing whose necessary number is disposed in accordance with the number of circuits to be externally connected; and second disconnecting switches which are arranged between the busbar and the second bushing. The first opening portion of the basic unit portion and the second opening portion of the variable unit portion are joined facing each other to form into a constitutional body.

The present invention relates to a device for interrupting non-short circuit currents only, and in particular relates to a disconnector, more particularly high voltage disconnector, or to an earthing switch, more particularly make-proof earthing switch, and further relates to a low voltage circuit breaker. The device comprises at least two contacts movable in relation to each other between a closed state and an open state and defining an arcing region, in which an arc is generated during a current interrupting operation and in which an arc-quenching medium comprising an organofluorine compound is present. According to the application, a counter-arcing component is allocated to the arcing region, the counter-arcing component being designed for counteracting the generation of an arc and/or being designed for supporting the extinction of an arc.

A switchgear system includes an enclosure made of dielectric material and containing atmospheric air and a plurality of switch assemblies within the enclosure arranged in a plurality of rows. Each switch assembly is electrically connected to at least one other switch assembly in another row and includes a loadbreak module, a bushing, and a disconnect switch. The loadbreak module includes a fixed contact, a movable contact, and a pair of opposed line terminals electrically coupled to the movable contact. The bushing includes a load terminal, and the disconnect switch is positioned between the load terminal and the fixed contact to selectively break or establish an electrical pathway therebetween. Each disconnect switch of each switch assembly and each movable contact of each switch assembly is coupled with each other disconnect switch and each other movable contact, respectively, of the switch assemblies in the same row to be operable in unison.

Method for assembling a switching apparatus for medium voltage electric systems

A method for assembling a switching apparatus for medium voltage electric systems is provided. The method includes, for each electric pole of the switching apparatus, providing a mounting assembly. The mounting assembly includes a support structure, a vacuum interrupter, a motion transmission mechanism, and an auxiliary contact. The method further includes providing a first semi-finished structure of the switching apparatus, where the first semi-finished structure includes, for each electric pole of the switching apparatus, a first pole terminal and a first fixed contact electrically connected to the first pole terminal. The method further includes, for each electric pole of the switching apparatus, installing the mounting assembly on the first semi-finished structure.
