A floor cleaner including a vacuum source, a supply tank, and a recovery tank. The floor cleaner is configured to remove debris and fluid from a surface to be cleaned. The recovery tank includes a removably coupleable strainer configured to filter hair and large debris from a dirty fluid during emptying of the recovery tank.

A cleaner includes a body defining an exterior appearance of the robot cleaner; a cleaning module coupled to the body and capable of performing cleaning with water. The cleaner also includes a water tank capable of being withdrawn from the body, and storing water to be supplied to the cleaning module. The cleaner also includes a light source inside the body, and positioned to allow emitted light to pass through the water tank and then discharged outside of the body.

The present disclosure provides a surface cleaning apparatus that includes a housing including a base adapted for movement across a surface to be cleaned, a fluid delivery system, and a recovery system. The invention relates to a floor cleaning system, having a mobile floor cleaning apparatus that comprises at least one cleaning unit for cleaning a floor surface, a reservoir for receiving a cleaning liquid, a dirt receiving device for taking up dirty liquid from the floor surface, and a dirty liquid container into which the dirty liquid is transferable; and further having a docking station for the floor cleaning apparatus, which is docked thereto in a docked position; wherein the docking station has at least one supply conduit with a connection element arranged thereon, the floor cleaning apparatus having at least one liquid conduit with a connection element arranged thereon; wherein the floor cleaning apparatus comprises a rinsing device on or in the dirty liquid container; and wherein, when the floor cleaning apparatus is in the docked position, the connection elements are coupled to one another such that the reservoir is fillable with the cleaning liquid via the at least one liquid conduit and a rinsing liquid for rinsing the dirty liquid container is applicable to the rinsing device via the at least one liquid conduit.

A floor cleaning device includes a horizontal portion and a vertical portion. The horizontal portion is capable of moving on a floor to be cleaned. The vertical portion is rotatably disposed on the horizontal portion. The horizontal portion includes a washing unit. The washing unit includes a rolling brush, a detergent liquid outlet, a detergent liquid tank and a pump. The rolling brush is capable of washing the floor to be cleaned. The detergent liquid tank communicates with the detergent liquid outlet. The pump conveys the detergent liquid from the detergent liquid tank to the detergent liquid outlet and finally to the floor to be cleaned. The detergent liquid may serve as an interface active agent of the floor to be cleaned. The detergent liquid cooperates with the rolling brush to scrub the floor to be cleaned.

In embodiments of the present disclosure, the cleaning robot includes a main body, a driving part for driving the cleaning robot to move on a surface to be cleaned, a liquid storage tank storing a fluid, a cleaning part connected with the liquid storage tank and a controller. When the cleaning robot enters different working modes, the liquid storage tank is controlled to apply the fluid to the cleaning part in different liquid supply manners or the liquid storage tank is controlled to stop applying the fluid to the cleaning part. Using the present disclosure, a fluid quantity applied to the cleaning part can be effectively controlled, improving the cleaning effect, and enhancing the users' experience.

A surface cleaning apparatus includes a controller coupled to a sensor or a set of sensors that collects and transmits data to a remote computing device. The surface cleaning apparatus can use wireless or networking technology with a protocol for wireless communication with the remote computing device. The remote computing device is configured to identify an event at the surface cleaning apparatus and/or a change in the cycle of operation of the surface cleaning apparatus based on the transmitted data. Sensor data can be transmitted from the remote computing device to a different surface cleaning apparatus.

A floor cleaner including a recovery. The recovery tank is configured to contain a fluid drawn through a suction inlet from a surface to be cleaned by a vacuum source. The recovery tank includes a shutoff float. The shutoff float is movable between a first position and a second position. The shutoff float includes a float body, a float closure, and a first interconnecting member. The first interconnecting member engages a second interconnecting member to retain the float in the first position. In the first position, the shutoff float is spaced a distance from the suction air outlet, allowing air flow through the suction air outlet. The first interconnecting member engages the second interconnecting member to retain the shutoff float in the first position. In the second position, the shutoff float is adjacent the suction air outlet, inhibiting air flow through the suction air outlet.
